We went to Mauritius and stayed at the Veranda Paul et Virginie Hotel and Spa in Grand Gaube. It was the most incredible relaxing time and the best to recover from the wedding and unwind before returning to reality.
The wedding look was all about comfort and elegance. I wore the most comfortably, beautiful dress from Bridal Wardrobe whose service was outstanding.
My Hair and makeup was done by Susan Kang Make-up and Hair- The goal was for classic, simple makeup and an up-style to really show the back of the dress.
We got married at Meulstroom Lodge. It is a beautiful family-owned lodge along the Bronkhorstspruit River. The family that own and run the lodge took care of absolutely everything and were very professional.
Our guests all spent the night at the lodge which meant people could truly enjoy the wedding and their time spent.
Although I tried to follow a diet and exercise routine prior to the wedding, it didn't really work out.
The most that I did before the wedding was my hair and have my nails done. The rest fell into place (wedding stress is a great weight-loss regime).
The venue arranged all of our flowers and decor. The most we did was our wedding favours which we did ourselves and some table signage that made it super personal.
The groom wore a custom-made bespoke suit by Peter Reso Designs which was tailored to perfection.
The bridesmaids wore a stunning purple skirt from YDE which matched the groomsmen's ties perfectly with a black lace top. The goal for the look was to stay true to my own style and provide them with an outfit that was not only beautiful and matched the colours of the wedding, but also comfortable and something they could wear again.
Miss Wang Photography and Peachtree Productions did an incredible job with capturing our day and took the finest details into consideration.
Our wedding venue had an on-site wedding coordinator that took care of absolutely everything for us!
The stationery was designed by the groom's brother with friends who did the printing.
