The highlight of the day was the time we spent taking our photos, it was such a relaxed and intimate time together. We were able to take time and reflect on the service and prepare ourselves for the ceremony.
Some of my memorable moments were waiting at the end of isle to walk to my husband, taking our pictures on the side of the road while cars drove past and hooted :) Our fun first dance, all the speeches and our combined speech.
Seeing the blood moon and the eclipse in the evening.

We got married at City Hill Chruch in Hillcrest. Our reception venue was at the Hillcrest bowling club. We kept it local as both of our families lived within the area.
I didn't have any form of treatments or beauty regime leading up to the wedding.
Our decor was provided by a family friend who also helped set up the venue the day before and the morning of the wedding. We had a very simple centerpieces and a sweetie bar that was a big hit with the kids and adult kids too.
My maid of honor and my flower girl wore dresses that were made by a seamstress in JHB. Navy blue infinity dresses both herself and the flower girl.
Dusty Van Niekerk, our favourite pastor from City Hill church.
