This whole day was special. Every single moment. Getting ready with my best friends, sisters and mother, laughing and having fun. Coming down the isle with my father by my side and my future husband standing there in front of me, looking so handsome. Even our photo shoot was special and full of laughter. Our first dance was perfect. We played the shoe game and that was a lot of fun. Our wedding day was just perfect.
My husband called this the funnymoon, because we went to Knysna. He promised the honeymoon will be next year when he takes me to the Maldives. Our honeymoon was also a lot of fun. We went whale watching, zip lining, wine tasting. We went to Birds of Eden and Monkey land. And as always, every day was filled with fun and laughter.
My wedding look was plain and simple, but I also think stunning. I wore a beautiful wedding dress that I got from Olivelli Bloemfontein, designed by Maggie Sottero. Ivory, with a little bit of blush pink around the waist. My hairstyle was half up and curled. My shoes was black/silver with a lot of bling, I always wanted my shoes to be totally different from the dress. I wore beautiful silver earrings that my mom gave me and a beautiful infinity, heart shaped necklace that my husband gave to me as a present that morning.
About three years back I fell in love with a place in Potchefstroom called Anderland. It was perfect, beautiful and just had that fairy tale look that a girl could dream of.
I am a bit lazy when it comes to gym and exercise :) , but I went on the 28 Day Diet and made sure I drank a lot of water every day. I don't really have skin problems but I cleaned and toned my face every day and didn't wear make up to make sure I didn't get any surprises on my wedding day.
Our wedding colors was royal blue, white and silver and the theme was crystals and mirrors. Hannelie from Anderland did our flowers. I rented the decor from A&E Decor in Potchefstroom. White table cloths with blue runners and round mirrors in the center of the tables. Silver under plates with blue serviettes and crystal serviette rings. Blue candles and white flowers on the mirror with a candelabra in the center full of white flowers and crystal strings hanging from them. I only have one word to describe the stunning work these people did. Magical.
The groom wore a black suit, black waist coat, white shirt with a royal blue tie and black shoes. Groosmen wore black shoes, black pants, white shirt with royal blue tie and black waist coat.
The girls wore royal blue dresses. They picked out what they liked and what they were comfortable in.

No I didn't have a planner. Had my friends, sister and mother to help me with everything.
