The happiest day of my life!!!
I will never forget the feeling that completely consumed me as I headed into the chapel and saw my best friend waiting at the altar, ready to call me his wife. It's an emotion I could never explain. My big brother, Richard, walked me down the aisle and we shared some laughs and tears before we walked arm in arm down the aisle. Our 6 year old daughter, Olivia-Rose, was so excited and we were able to share some sweet moments together in the morning. We cuddled up on a chair as I practised my vows and she couldn't stop looking at me with such a deep love in her eyes.
So the little intimate moments and massively overwhelming moments are by far my favourite as well as the incredible party that we had at our reception. The tequila was flowing and EVERYONE found their place on the dance floor! Best party we ever had and it was all to celebrate us! What a day!
We headed up to the Central drakensberg for five days. Best way to unwind and relax. We spent two nights in our favourite hotel, Cathedral Peak, and three nights at a self catering place called Cayley lodge. Both were vastly different yet so unwinding with lots to do. We did a hike, went horse riding and played loads of tennis at Cathedral in between indulging in the tranquility of the mountains and the delectable food! And at Cayley lodge we went quad biking and played more tennis but, found ourselves really unwinding in front of the fire with a pack of cards most nights . Both places were divine!
