The vibe was amazing. Everything went smoothly and the music was incredible. Such an amazing party with amazing food.
Due to an illness in the family we just took a week off and did something else everyday in Cape Town to stay close to our loved one in his end time of need.
I had a simple dress, heartshaped v-line. My hair was curled by a fqmily member and I did a natural makeup look by myself. It was chilly so I wore stockings with two garters with one that I could keep. Same with my flowers, the lodge made me an extra bouquet that I could toss so I could keep my flowers. I wore Dreams perfume that was given to me by py grandma that passed in 2016.
Lords Guest Lodge in McGregor Western Cape. Close family stayed on the Lodge. It was awesome having everyone in the nearby towns and on the Lodge. A weekend wedding!

Our decor was done by die Lodge. It was like a fairytale with hanging glass bulbs and flowers. Friends made confetti from their roses in their garden so we made heart on the dancefloor. It was soft warm and cozy lighting with candles in a rustic enviroment. Fire burning to keep everyone warm.
They wore grey suits with silver ties and the groom wore a lilac tie.
They wore purple dresses of their choice. So each one was unique with a different shade. I handmade their bouquets.
Cois de Cock. What an amazing man with great humour. He had everyone laughing. Very unique and hip.
We made use of All About Photography. Milya van Heerden is based in Paarl. Our wedding was the Saturday and by die Tuesday we had our photos. Beautiful photos!
My mother Elmarie and mother in law Antoinette helped me with arrangements.
It was on a lodge so no transport was needed. We walked up to the chapel.
My hubby's aunt made our cake. Christell du Plessis, boy she is good at what she does. The lodge catered the food, it was a harvest table while photos where being shot, tomato coulash soup and then for mains it was a choice between lamb shank or pork belly.
Most of it I made myself.
We just went with it, did our dance and that was it. In2Music did our lighting and sound Andrew is the main guy and we would have him a thousand times over. He read the crow well and got everyone to their feet. We had such a blast!
