On the same day as the Royal Wedding I married my own Prince Charming and what a perfect day it was. Surrounded by the magical, purple hues of the mountain and kissed by the soft Autumn sun, we shared the most spectacular day with our special friends and family. A day of pure love. This was truly the happiest day of our lives and the sparkle in our eyes captured in every photograph is proof of just that.
We escaped the City to the beautiful plains of Namibia where we shared a beautiful week at Erindi Private Game Reserve.

We wanted to keep it elegant. So we went for all white with great pops of fresh greens. Masses of arrangements including roses, lilies, tulips and cascading penny gum were set around the room. And then the candles...hundreds of them. We even sourced our own specific candles with a Wild Fig scent and let these burn long before the guests entered the room. This way they were greeted with the most beautiful and fresh aroma to compliment the magnificent floral décor.

The second best dresses in the room (after the Mother of the Bride's dress of course) were my beautiful bridesmaids dresses. Sourced internationally, these dresses suited every figure to perfection. My favourite: the floor length satin bow at the back!

My Mum is the definition of elegance. She is pure class, an organizer extraordinaire and meticulous to a fault. My Mum always says that the best impact comes from the small things, the attention to detail. She had thought of everything and pulled it off in spectacular fashion. Oh how lucky I am.
