Without the love and amazing support we received from our family and friends James and I would not have pulled this day off and to have our two fur babies Dexter and Dobby with us made this a fairy tale wedding for sure!
We went to Reunion Island!
so if you and your partner are looking to go to some resort and and just lay back and chill for few days... this is not the place for you, well you can do that on Reunion Island, but than you missing out on all the amazing activities and just the natural beauties on Reunion. 1st of all they have an Active Volcano on the island!!!
...and I lost count of all the waterfalls we saw, its really fun and adventurous.
We felt like we were in a movie like "Jurassic park or Avatar" lol, the mountains were huge and all around and so green and beautiful. It really was amazing!
We hired a vehicle and traveled the whole island staying in 5 different hotels, was really cool as we got to see alot of amazing things, eat good food and the locals are really friendly.
Definately will be going back :)
My dress was a Pronovias dress that I purchased from De La Vida. I felt it was simple yet exquisite at the same time, it was the one secret I kept from James. It made me feel like a bride the moment I put it on. Makeup was done by Taken By Storm, Hair was done by Clea's Hair Studio. My shoes I purchased from Aldo. Ring was from Browns and the Ring glass box was from H&M.
We wanted a place that spoke to us as a relaxed couple who love exploring nature and the hidden gems of South Africa. We found Black Horse Brewery while we were looking for a spot for good food. Not only did we find that, but also great beer and a stunning wedding venue. Not to forget the gorgeous horses you get to take your photo's with.
No carbs, fizzy drinks and sugar :( from 3 months before the wedding, though i did have many cheat days.

I was the wedding planner and the Bride.... only because I do event planning and I am a control freak! hehe..
Black Horse Brewery is known for the divine food and crafted beers. We went for the Deconstructed Cheese Cake and Beers for Canapes and a Buffet option for Dinner which gave us the opportunity to work with their chef to tailor make a menu for us. Our family and friends expected the best food for our wedding as we are big foodies and Black Horse did not disappoint. To top it off we had a Candy table option for Desert which had a selection of our favorite cakes, pastries and sweets.
For our wedding cake we combined our favorite flavors in a two tier four layered naked cake.
The top layer was vanilla flavored with Turkish delight icing and the bottom layer was chocolate flavored with a Belgium chocolate icing. A burst of rich and sweet flavors, was delightful to say the least. This was done by the lovely ladies from Sweet Joy - firstname.lastname@example.org
DIY, James and I did the Program, Seating Chart, Welcome Board and Digital invites.
We both have 2 left feet when it comes to dancing but with help from Corrine @World of Dance we think we pulled off our first dance at the wedding. And we couldn’t have selected a more perfect song to describe how we feel about each other… “Feels like Home by Chantal Kreviazuk”.
Tony Bala did a live performance for us, entertaining our guests during Canapes right through to reception. A really talented and humble local artist.
