Magical Moments

Our desi fusion fairy-tale took place at the DLI Hall on 27 April 2018. After 8 memorable years of dating and 1 and half years of being engaged, my handsome husband and I still cannot get over our perfect day. After 2 days of pre-wedding traditions and celebrations we started off our fusion wedding with dhol drummers playing to beaty wedding tunes as guests arrived at the venue. As we made our bridal entries into what i call "my visionary reality" all i could see was not the gorgeous ceiling drapes, perfect flower arrangements, led lit white flowered ramp, 7 tiered stunning cake or the cantered hanging chandelier... it was the innocent dimpled smile waiting for me at the other end of the aisle. After our traditional wedding ceremony we had a quick change of attire and re-entered to our 400 guests as the happy newly weds. Kicking off the reception with our "perfect - ed Sheeran" first dance, cutting of the yummiest cake with flavoured layers such as burfee, snowball, chocolate and the traditional vanilla. After much smiles and many hugs we danced the night away with our nearest and dearest before officially starting our journey as husband and wife! Definitely the best day of our lives!

The Honeymoon

The next leg of our amazing wedding week was jetting off to the soft sands and clear waters of Thailand. Experiencing Thai culture and getting to indulge in our favourite Thai cuisines was the best way to get some much needed R&R and adventure. Touring Phuket and Phi Phi island ensured we got the best of both worlds from the adventurous tours, buzzing streets and high trafficked Phuket to the serenity of low tides, long boats and jasmine massages of PhiPhi Islands. What we miss most has to be Thailand's famous Mango and Sticky Rice!!!

In my past life I did alot of dancing so we did a few reheresed steps for the first dance which I choreographed, the rest of the night was moving to the beat.
