Magical Moments

Who would have guessed that 8 years ago, on the same day the groom met me he said "We are meant to be together, you and I, I'm sure I'm going to spend the rest of my life with you."
Clearly he was right, after a long road of ups and downs, fun times and times of crisis we had our wonderful day, as he predicted . It was absolutely beautiful as it was filled with love from all sides. Things truly couldn't have come together without our amazing families and friends, we planned together and executed an amazing celebration of US that was truly personalised. What made the day so memorable was that it truly celebrated love, the love that my husband and I have for each other, the love that we have for our families & friends and the love they have for us THAT made all the difference in the world, we are eternally grateful to the Almighty for blessing us with such wonderful people in our lives.

My Special Day

I know it's cliché but I wanted to be a princess for a day, even though I have never really been a girly girl. I always loved the dress that Anne Hathaway wore in Princess Diaries 2 and I was able to find one that was similar at Fay's Bridal Boutique - Natalie is an absolute gem ❤️. Hair was styled by Colleen (small one) at Just Hair in Thornton Rd Athlone. My make up was done by one of my best friends. Shoes - something borrowed

My Captured Moments

The amazing photographer was one of the grooms best friends, Curtis Fortune. He has blown us away numerous times with his talent and the wedding pictures came out spectacular. Pictures were taken at the venue and at Tafelberg Road, over looking the Cape Town City Bowl, Robben Island, Lions Head and Signal Hill.
