The highlight of our day was when we were feeding the elephants. That was an amazing experience that will stay with me forever.
We went to the Drakensberg for a week. It was a first for both of us as neither of us have been there before.
I opted for a flower crown with my hair curled and loose. I wanted a fairly natural look for makeup as I do not like dark makeup. My wedding gown was an ivory A-line Sweetheart Neckline dress. I wore Navy blue stilettos, a necklace given to me by my husband 5 years ago and a bracelet that I borrowed from my sister.

For health and fitness needs I went about my usual routine. I went to the gym 3 - 4 times a week. I had an hour long full body spa treatment the day before the wedding at Askari Game Lodge & Spa.
The colour scheme was Navy, Blush pink and Gold. We had long tables with gold underplates and a navy blue and a gold runner on the table. There were three white lanterns with candles and two flower vases with assorted blush pink flowers in between on each table.
The groom wore a navy suit, with a navy waistcoat, a white shirt and a blush pink tie. He wore brown Steve Madden shoes with his suit. We bought the shoes from Edgars and the suit from Eurosuit.
Bellamoore Photography was our photographer on the day. She did an amazing job and we are really happy with the service given. We also used Magic Photobooth for our reception.
The food was prepared by the chef at Askari Game Lodge & Spa. Sweetjoy baked our three tier wedding cake.
We hired Nitelife Productions SA as our DJ. They provided sound and lighting for the whole day. They also made the cloud for the "dancing on the cloud effect".
