Magical Moments

Every single thing was a highlight and so memorable, even up to my husband arriving late. It was a blissful day filled with a lot of emotion as my late dads brother walked me down the isle, something he felt he was honoured to do but shouldn't be doing as it was supposed to be my dads duty.
My biking family gathered to surprise me and escort me through the town to church, roaring sounds of the bikes, drawing attention. My mum looking absolutely dashing. My husband standing proud even though he was late waiting for me to walk down the isle. My deco was breath taking, the cake devine and the food so delicious. The music had us dancing the night away. So for me, everything was extremely memorable

The Honeymoon

No unfortunately we didn't go. We were blessed with a honeymoon to Mozambique but we couldn't get transport, and malaria tablets and every other cost that came with it, we just couldn't afford. So what we thought would be easy turned out to be the hardest trying to get all those things together to go

My Special Day

When it came to how I was going to look that day, I didn't want anything over the top. Simplicity is what I was aiming at, and I was so pleased with the outcome. My wedding dress I got at jasmins bridal in Durban, I went into the shop and a lady saw to me, asked me what was it that I was looking for, and I told her something simple with a lace top. And she said I know just the dress. It was huge, and on it went. I was left speechless, and thought let me try another dress to see if its any better, and I wasn't taken up as much as the first one, so on went the first one again, and boom tears from my mum and sister. That's when I knew this is the dress. Everything else we did ourselves, I bought a silver comfortable shoe from ideals, my make I wanted simple, and that was done by a family friend. My hair was done by my sister, and my jewelry and accessories were my something borrowed from my guard mother.

The Venue

I got married in Eshowe, and the St Michaels Anglican Church. And my guests stayed with family and also booked in at the George hotel, and eagles nest

My Bridal Beauty Regime

I went on a diet, watched the way I ate, and when I went for a fitting with my dress the one time we were in Durban, the lady said if I lost anymore weight the dress wouldn't fit and that's the only size that they had. So I stopped dieting and just kept my weight the way it was

Wedding Elements

My deco, wow. I had the most amazing wedding planner, I trusted her with the decisions she made cause I saw pics of her work and heard good remarks. So I told her to go ahead and do what ever she wanted to do. Gave her my numbers, she told me her ideas. I was happy, and the only time I saw the deco was when I entered the hall as a Mrs. And I was stunned. She out did herself, I was more then pleased. The amount of flowers, the simplicity, and elegance. It was amazing.
