There are so many memorable moments and hightlights of our wedding day, I dont know where to start as each and every moment was special to me.If i had to chose one or two,it would definetly have to be saying our I do's under a massive tree surround by widlife such as Zebra,Blesbok and Warthog and all our family and friends.Another hightlight that would be on the top of my list would be having our photos taken with South Africa's gentle giants the elephants this was an experience and half to be so close to them in their natural habitat and even having the one decided to run it's trunk up and down my husband's head and my back.
So my husband decided to surprise me for our honeymoon after planning this for say the last two months.I had no idea where we going, what were doing etc, i tried fishing but he wouldnt reveal a thing.On the Sunday morning after our wedding while at breakfast with our guests, I was handed a fiip file and on the main page was i have to say the second biggest surprize of my life. We were heading off to Khao Lak ,Thailand the following day for honeymoon i was so excited and shell shocked at the same time, as this had been one of my dream holiday destination's for such a long time.
My perfect dress was from Whimsicla Bridal, i had a few personal touches added to it to it make my own.
My make-up was very natural, and my hair was curled, thank you to my amazing make-up artist, Make up and Hair by Michelle.
My jewellery was a red heart shaped necklace and with diamate earings and bracelet, very simple but unique.
I wore a burgandy/white garter and silver heeled sandles.
Our wedding venue was at Glen Afric Country Lodge in Broederstroom, Hartbeespoort Dam.Most of guests stayed the night at the venue and were treated to a full buffet breakfast the next morning with the us the newly weds.
We had a very awesome, modern and funny marriage officer Stefan Zeelie, he had our ourselves captured from start to finish of the ceremony and had our guests chuckling and enjoying his amazing cermon.
Our amazing, awesome photographer Mariaan and Wikus from WM Studios Photography captured our stunning photos and Jannie Cilliers DVD productions our videographer captured our very special and memorable video, they were so amazing to work with and we felt very comfortable and extremely happy to have them part of our special day.
An awesome highlight getting married at Glen Afric Country Lodge was that I was transported in a Game Vehicle/Land Rover down to the ceremony and the same for each and every guest.Which was extremely exciting and fun for each and everyone.
