The highlight of my special day was my father walking me down the aisle and just seeing the pure happiness on his face. The most memorable moment is watching the expression on my husbands face as I entered the chapel. He was so tearful and his face just showed pure love. In that moment I realised just how much he adored me.
My Husband and I went to San Lameer Holiday and spa resort in Southbroom, KZN. We only went for 4 nights, but it was amazing!
My wedding dress was a simple satin strapless A line with a long train. My dress was soft ivory in colour. I had a long lace cathedral veil with ivory peep toe heels. I had a fresh water pearl necklace and earings along with my mothers 18ct White gold watch with diamonds. My make-up was done by Kimberlee De Beer from make-up for special events. Kimberlee did an absolutely stunning job! I decided just to go for a natural look.
We had our Wedding at Eden Lassie Wedding Venue which is in Camperdown, KZN. My husband and I stayed over in the Honeymoon Suit. My guests stayed in near by accommadation around the Camperdown area.
I didnt really have a beauty regime leading up to my wedding day. I was a very relaxed bride and went with the flow. I just made sure I ate healthy and got lots of sunshine (Vitamin D).
My theme for the wedding was vintage and floral. The main colours were white and coral. My flowers were a range of creams, pinks and corals. My bridesmaid's bouquets were a simple king protea with lots of greenery around it. My bouquet required a king protea with roses. The centre pieces were white bird cages with candles. With protea's and roses around it. We had fairy lights hanging from the ceilings. It looked like a fairy tale!
The groomsmen and groom wore a black tux with waistcoats. We hired their suits from Shona's bridal shop.
My bridesmaids wore long coral bridesmaid gowns, which were all different styles to suit their personality . They wore rose gold heels along with rose gold accessories.
Our Photographer was Elsie Roux from I do\dreams photography. She is based in Hillcrest, KZN. She was absolutely amazing and made us feel so comfortable. She went out of her way to get the perfect shots and organised all the props. Our Videographer was Tayla Templeton from iFace productions (also my sister-inlaw). She is based in Westville, KZN. She also did such an amazing job making sure she captured every special moment.
I made and Designed all the wedding stationary.
