10 March 2018 was by far the most beautiful day. We had four seasons in one day. We wanted the day to be unforgettable. The theme was classic with a lot off white and green. Green is our favourite colour and white has a fresh and pure touch.
Our special day started with a lot of fun. We wanted everyone to enjoy the day with us. Everyone that was part of the day including our service providers was so passionate and exciting about the day. Everyone that was part of our wedding felt like family.
When we arrived at the venue there were clouds but no sign of rain. I mean a warm sunny day in the beautiful Robertson, why would it rain in a few minutes. When I walked down by the beautiful aisle with my dad everything was perfect. Ed Sheeran’s Perfect Cello & Piano Version started and when I took my first step outside there was a drop or two of rain that fell down on my face. I saw the love off my life, my soulmate, my prince charming and everything felt perfect just the way it was.
We had a small intimate wedding of 87 guests. The service was outside with a view over the Breede Valley mountains and Robertson wine yards. During the service it started to rain. What a blessing. The rain didn’t last too long and luckily one off our guests had an umbrella.
The reception was beautiful and everything more than I ever dreamed of. We enjoyed every second and I will treasure every second for the rest of my life.
I couldn’t ask for a more perfect day.
