We had so many I do not even know we're to start.
Our wedding was perfect to us, it was evething we expected and more.
My husband Kriveshin and I got married on our 8year anniversary, our wedding date have so much meaning to us as when we started dating he actually said if you can last 7 years with me I will marry you, who would of known that he actually kept his word lol.
I do have 1 major highlight, my dad is in the SA Navy and he always gets sent away on deployment. I am so blessed to have him walk me down the church isle and to put a extra cherry on the cake he wore his step out uniform. This was more a proud moment for me I think lol.
My guests all looked beautiful and the venue was warm with love. My highlight is our wedding!!!
My husband kept that a complete secret..
Only when we were checking in, the flight attendant requested him to confirm the final destination and I heard him say Bali, Indonesia.
I was astonished at this fact as we merely discussed it years back while on the MSC Cruse to Mozambique.
The flight there are actually comfortable, and even being in Economy we were treated as royalty.
From wine to great food, even champagne just before landing in Singapore.
Then off to Bali.
Bali's people are friendly and really go out of their way to assist you, even trying to sell their entire shop to you at once. Haha
The food was a real taste experience, with the Balinese traditional meals having loads of nuts, rice and egg in almost everything. Yummy would be a total understatement. We definitely picked up a few kilo's both of us being to scared to step on the scale on our return.
We spend 7 nights in Kuta, which was a buzzing city with almost 24hour city life. The beaches were white sand and blue sky's and everything you could imagine a tropical island to be.
Bali really had everything, we experiences of the lazy beaches, village tours of silver, wood work, and stone work, to the adrenaline of undersea walking and sea-paragliding.
Just as things seemed perfect, he asked me to prepare to pack up as we'd be moving on to our next destination.
He caught me totally off guard, and asked where we were going he said it would be a 4 hour boat trip... All that came to my mind is him holding my hair as I throw up over the boat.
But being the crazy man he is he was pulling my leg. Thanks to the calm seas it was 1.5 hours and we stopped off at Gilli Trawangan. A small island off the coast of Lambok.
He booked accommodation on the opposite end of the island and refused to pay for a taxi(horse and cart), as it was a mere 3km distance.
So here we went with our two suitcases, along the beach, sweating, huffing and puffing.
Finally we arrived at Aston Sunset Beach Resort and OMW the walk almost worth it!
Clear blue pools, with lush vegetation giving complete cover from the sun. Not to forget the cocktails and 10 star breakfasts.
His planing was impeccable as he arranged a cake and rose petals upon arrival.
The perfect last 3 days on Gilli was Snorkeling with Turtles and cocktails either by the pool or beach.
It was truly the most relaxing and adventurous experience of my life and it was the beginning of my New life with my sneaky husband.
My wedding dress was bought in Cape Town, I use to fly from JHB everytime I needed to go for a fitting. Reason being is my parents lives in Cape Town and I'm a softy when it comes to family. I wanted my parents to be with me every step of the way. So my dress was also chosen by my parents I must say they have awesome taste lol I Love my dress. Brining it back to PTA was a terrible experience though carrying this heavy dress on the plane and not having the best assist by the flight attendant. Seeing my dress getting folded and squashed in the top compartment was a nightmare.
My hair and make up was down by the lovely fun Heidi from Red Artistry Makeup.
Wedding shoes was bought at Bride & Co.
I was lucky to receive a lot of sexy Lingerie on my Bachelorette parties.
And Jewelry my mom, sister and hubby gifted me.
Our wedding was at the Indaba Hotel Fourways , Gauteng.
My family are all from Cape Town, so every one did book in, it became a weekend wedding lol. The venue has a massage facility Monwana Spa so so so beautiful and relaxing we all went for Spa treatments the Friday and the wedding was on the Saturday.
This venue also serves the best food ever whether its the breakfast buffet or the wedding buffet. We had guests actually complaining we have to much food hahahha the best ever.
I really started looking at my health , not only for the wedding but also for myself. With my loving husband supporting me 100% we went to together always motivating each other. We changed our eating habits at home and work, i was actually shocked at the end result before the wedding as i actually lost 17kg, i felt and still do feel so amazing and we are planning to stick to this routine even now after the wedding.
i did enjoy some facial treatments but only because i wanted to spoil myself hehe.
O wow our decor was stunning, since i am from Cape Town and living in Pretoria i always wanted a beach wedding.
With our hectic lifestyles that was not going to happen as i like to be hands on.
So i decided to big a touch of the ocean to JHB, our colors were navy blue and coral.
We had candles and sea shells with lovely white coral on our tables, with navy blue pattern table clothes.
The flowers a mixture of soft coral roses and white flowers with green and blue leaves. Yes the lady that did our flowers actually dyed some of the leaves blue, so amazing.
We had led up lighters all around the venue with soft colors that set the perfect mood, our names and wedding date shining on the dance floor through a laser cut light.
on our opening dance we had dry ice spread on the floor though the fog machine to give a layer of floating mist, it was so my perfect fairy tale.
My husband had on a Navy blue Tailor fit suite from Caducci with a coral waist coat tailor made for him, brown tan formal shoes from Aldo and a navy blue sleek tie. I surprised him with a gold watch and gold cuff-lings as a wedding gift. He wore those too, he looks so so handsome.
His best man wore a gun metal suite form Galicks , with a matching tailor made coral waist coat, a black formal shoes and a grey matching tie.
These guys made me so proud on the wedding day looking all handsome clean shaved and smart hair cuts.

Well after several Printerst searches i final found the perfect dress for the girls.
I had 3 bridesmaids, 3 flower girls and my maid of honor.
The 3 bridesmaids wore soft BON-BON long navy dresses with a soft layer of mesh over it and waterfall sleeves.
1 flower girls wore soft glitter tule and lace navy blue dress and the 2 smaller flower girls wore navy blue and white tutus, they looked just to cute.
The maid of honer also wore a Bon-Bon dress with a layer of mesh over it navy blue but she had a lace top and a silver belt.
These dresses were all tailor made and beautiful i would not change a thing. The girls all loved there dresses and ia m sure they can all use them again.
Our marriage officer was Reverent Gavin Felix, he is our reverent at our Methodist Church.
Was such a blessing having him to marry us as i grew up in front of him and i also had the opportunity to be confirmed by Reverent Felix.
Our awesome photographer name is Shalane-Marias, she took beautiful pictures and lovely details as seen in my gallery.
I was blessed with a videographer as a gift from one of my guests. It was such a surprise as I did not know of it and just saw this guy roaming around and following us. It was a truly awesome experience.
My hubby and I did all our planning ourselves, it was so fun as we also grew closer in this time going to all the fun wedding expos and taking part in couple activities, he was such a sport.
We were lucky to book a venue that had everything on site, our Chapel , reception, accommodation and dressing rooms were all at the same venue so we did not need wedding transport. We did how ever have a Gold Carts transporting us around the venue it was so much fun and the guests really enjoyed this experience.
The food was prepared by the chef of the venue Indaba Hotel, it was so yummy.
The wedding cake was made by L's Creations from Queenswood Pretoria.

Hubby and i did these ourselves.
We did have dance lessons, it was a total surprise for our guests. We had a slow dance that went into a more up beats song and then at the end invited all guests to join. It was great fun as I actually tripped over my wedding dress and hubby cought me like a pro hahaha it looked as if it was part of the dance lol.
We had 3 dj's, one we hired, the other we won at a wedding expo and one is a family friend.
The party was lively and music was great and having 3 Dj's we could catter for all types of music.
