I have a few highlights of the the day that I will forever cherish.
The 1st one is when I revealed myself to my Mother, father, brother and bridesmaids. I tried so hard to keep the tears in, it was such emotional but happy moment. Luckily my make-up artist was still close by.
Then of course there is the moment of walking down the isle, seeing all the faces of the people you love dearly, and standing there, waiting for you at the end is the love of your life, smiling with tears running down his cheeks, looking so handsome so happy. Its the most incredible feeling it feels as if the world stopped spinning for a second and its only you and him around.
We decided to wait until June to go on honeymoon to Zanzibar as the weather conditions are better then and the conditions for scuba-diving is better, we are scuba-diving lovers :)
We got married at Groenrivier venue in Riebeek- west. It is such a beautiful venue, with a stunning view. We had a weekend wedding, as many of our guests had to come from far, so we decided to have a spit braai on the Friday night at Du Vlei farm, where most of the guest did stay for the weekend. Where as the bridal party and I stayed at the wedding venue, they have a few rooms there available.

I didn't do so much regarding beauty before hand, just made sure my skin was soft and moisturized by applying bio oil to my face 3 times a week in the evenings before the wedding. Health, we jog, its part of our routine a lot at least 3 x a week and we make sure to eat health during the week. Other than that I just spoiled myself to a manicure and pedicure a few days before the wedding.
The Groom wore a beautiful blue shaded suit with a white shirt, brown shoes and a floral tie, which ties in wit the theme, and he also wore beautiful costumed made wooden cufflinks with is initials and a logo of a scuba diver, as he is loves to scuba dive.
The groomsmen all wore navy blue suits, white shirts, floral bow ties and costumed made cufflinks.
