Our whole day was planned with God as our center, we wanted Him to be part in everything. And He did absolutely provide in everything!!
We got married at Oranje Guest farm close to Fouriesburg between the most beautiful mountains.
We had a couple of memorable moments starting with when my 'almost husband' asked to pray for us just before we met in the chapel. He asked to hold my hand while I was standing in my room and he just around the corner so that he couldn't see me.
When I walked down the isle with my father, seeing the look on Attie's face is indescribable! And the mixed emotions of relieve AND excitement, we finally made it!!
Before and during the ceremony it rained and the thunder struck three times: Reën is God se seën! (Rain is God's Blessing)

Dancing with my father on our father and daughter dance was so emotional and special.

We went to the beautiful and secluded Oribi Gorge in Natal.
I wanted a laid back feeling. My dress was not to busy.
My hair was curled to the side and completed with the most beautiful flowers: Chinks, Veronicas, Sea Hollies and Eucalyptus.
My makeup had a natural look.

We got married at the beautiful Oranje Guest Farm near Fouriesburg.
Close family stayed on the farm.
To eat healthy and to exercise is a part off my everyday lifestyle, so I continued with that. I exercise at Abundant Life Fitness. I made sure that I stayed healthy, so I drank the necessary vitamins and enough water everyday so that I can stay hydrated which also helped my skin. I use Mannatech.

I collected brown bottles and that was on our tables filled with Veronicas, Gyp, Eucalyptus, Chinks and Sea Holly.
My husband is an electrician, he did our photo corner with lots of naked bulbs.
The rest of the reception was filled with fairy lights to create a romantic atmosphere.
We rented a glass door and wrote the table settings on the glass squares.
We placed marquee lights in front of our table.
Attie and I made board out of sleeper wood with a cross made of rope and our verse from Ecclesiastes 4:12. Today the board is hanging above our bed to remind us of God's message to us.

My colours were shades of dark blue, light blue, light grey and dark grey with a dash of rose gold. I had four bridesmaids and each wore one of the colours. My maid of honor designed and made the dresses.

No wedding planner, but Oranje Guest Farm provided a coordinator for the day.
I did not have any transport as we were getting ready on Oranje Guest Farm where the wedding took place.
BUT it started to rain right before I had to go to the chapel so my dad came to the rescue and drove me to the chapel in his Toyota Prado.

Wow, what a night! It was so much fun to spend OUR day with all our family and friends. The food were absolutely delicious, the dessert chocolate mouse cupcakes and cappuccino's took our breath away and the music kept us on our feet! The party went on until 00:00!!
