Magical Moments

Our wedding day was one of the most specials days in my life. Besides getting married to my best friend and soulmate, we also had the privilege of dedicating our first born to God. That was a moment to remember and what an awesome feeling having our little girl part of our wedding day!

The Honeymoon

Yes, we went to Amakhala Game Reserve. The service was spectacular and made us feel so special. We went on Game Drives and met amazing otherinternational couples.

My Special Day

I would describe my wedding look as simple and elegant. I didnt want a big traditional wedding dress, so me and the designer went for something more soft and feminine. The shoes I wore were Zellies; they were super comfortable and fitted perfect with the outside ceremony. I borrowed the jewelry from my best friend, as it fitted perfect with my look. My hair was done by my other best friend who is a Hairdresser and my makeup was done by Alicia Blom Louwrens who was also my photgrapher.

The Venue

We got married at Crossways Country Kitchen.
We wanted an outdoor setup with the view of the mountains and open fields, and this venue suited us perfectly. Their food was exquisite and the venue was beautiful. Priscilla Potgieter was the star who made all our dreams came true. She was our wedding planner. We had a morning wedding. So we could have the whole day to celebrate with our close friends and family.

My Bridal Beauty Regime

I was 20weeks pregnant again when we got married, so I had the natural pregnancy glow...lol. i just ate healthy and drank lots of water to keep my skin and body hydrated. No specific beautu regime.

Wedding Elements

I wanted lots and lots of flowers everywhere. So we did a long wedding table indoor where everyone sat together. It was decorated with flowers and lots of candles. I would describe it as country elegance. The reception was outdoor, so we tented Wimbledon chair to fit the picture. The wedding venue already had al the beautiful wooden furniture we loved.

My Groom And His Groomsmen

We baught my husband a sportsjacket and a shirt, which he wore with a Chino. It was a morning wedding, which was less formal, so he could dress more comfortable. We didnt have a bridal party.

Beautiful Bridesmaids

We decided not to have a bridal party.

Marriage Officer

Our Marriage Officer was Pastor Mike. He is a close friend from my Inlaws, and it was extra special having him do the service.

My Captured Moments

Alicia Louwrens Professional Makeup and Photography took our photos. She also did my makeup. She made us feel so comfortablenin front of the camera.

The Wedding Planner

Yes, Priscilla Potgieter from Droom Dekor did our planning. She was absolutely amazing and I would recommend her to everyone.

Wedding Transport

My brother fetch me from the farm a drove me to the venue in his BMW.

Food & Cake

The food was prepared by the venue. It is actually a restaurant. So they knew whats they were doing. We ordered from their menu, and knew exactly what we were serving our guests. Our wedding was caramel cheesecake, which was also our dessert. This was made by a friend.

Wedding Stationery

Priscilla Potgieter from Droom Dekor designed and printed everything.

The Reception and Entertainment

Our reception was very intimate. Because it was a morning wedding we decided not to have a dance floor, but rather have lots of benches outdoor so that everyone could mingle and celebrate together. Our music was also done by a friend.
