Magical Moments

Our wedding day was the best day! We had all our friends there and close family.

Our wedding day felt more like a big party than a wedding day!

From the morning arriving until the last moment we just had fun! From laughing with my girls and the boys having fun when we started to get ready the morning to having great food and dancing there was so many memorable moments!

My entrance into the ceremony was one no one would forget as i recorded a song that i sang for my new Hubby. the songs name is I get to love you.

Our couple photos was an awesome and exciting experience we didn't just take photos we had fun with an awesome team!

Then our entrance into the reception was one for the books! We and our wedding party put on masks and danced into the reception with an awesome Spanish song called 'Bara bara'

The food was exceptional and the party even better!

The Honeymoon

We went on an awesome holiday to Thailand and Dubai.

In Thailand we had some friends that joined so we called it a buddy moon and we had lots of fun there.

We then went to Dubai and Abu Dabi - wow what an experience! This was definitely a highlight in our lives!

Everything is awesome there!

My Wedding Inspiration

My Special Day

I wanted to go for a very different but still classy Bohemian look. i got my insanely beautiful dress at 'Made with Love' in Australia, they have an agent in South Africa that ordered it for me. With the beautiful lace and cute pockets i couldn't go wrong with this dress!

My make up was done by 'Styling with Jordan' one of my best friends daughter who got honors in her make up degree.

My hair was done by 'Enigmatic Hair by Melissa' one of my good friends, i went for a very bohemian curly and plated look.

I collected my Jewellery through out the year from all over but mostly from Lovisa as they had a lot of Bohemian looking Jewellery.

The Venue

We booked our Venue a year before the wedding. The venue's name is Lace on Timber, at the time we booked the venue was quite new and very different to all the other venues. As I like looking at venues all the time I came across this beautiful place and it just felt right. the venue has rooms so we booked it out for some of the guests. We had awesome food and a great evening all together.

Wedding Elements

I wanted to go through with the Bohemian theme and got my mom to make me 30 dream catchers, we used crochet's from both my granny's who has passed and made the dream catchers.

We got buck skulls to put all over and lots of flowers.

The tables was dressed in grey linen hanging to the floor with rose gold cutlery and colored wine glasses, red apples, grapes flowing out of rose cold ornaments and beautiful flowers, glass base plates, buck skulls and rose gold candle sticks with blue candles.

Our main table had a floral runner with a big buck skull in the middle, rose gold candle holders with blue candles.
We had a big flower arrangement hanging from the ceiling on top of the main table with a 'love' sign in front of the table.

We had 3 hula hoop flower arrangements hanging at the beautiful windows at the venue and candles all over.

The ceremony was made up beautiful with all the dream catchers and flowers.

My Groom And His Groomsmen

My groom got a beautiful suite from 'Tailor me'. It was a black trouser with a dark grey shirt and Maroon Jacket with black shoes. He looked gorgeous.

I got him a floral tie at a market.

The groomsmen had blue pants, white shirts, brown shoes and suspenders that i also got from the market.

Beautiful Bridesmaids

My bridesmaids chose their own design for their dresses but still went with the bohemian vibe. We used 'Nika Couture' to make the dresses.

The colors was all different but similar, we used 3 kinds of maroon and lace.

My flower girl was my daughter and we designed a dress for her that was made the color of my dress and almost the same kind of lace. it was a skirt and a crop top, she looked like a small bride in that dress and i was so proud of her!

My Captured Moments

Wow, wow wow that's all I can say!

Duck soup production is the best! They captured our moments on awesome photos and video!

They really know what they are doing and we had a lot of fun with this team!

Wedding Transport

We love old cars and my husband got us an old but looked after VW split window Combi.

We got the best photos with this car!!

The Reception and Entertainment

For our entertainment we got Anton Botha! He did all the sound and entertainment. We had the best party ever!
