As Song of Solomon 3:4 says "I have found the one whom my soul loves". . . This is exactly how I felt walking down the isle to the one I will be sharing my whole life with.
Planning the wedding forms part of my highlights because this really showed us what team work was all about. Supporting each other, communicating and above all enjoying every moment and tackling every task at hand with LOVE. When I saw my husband, all that hardwork paid off and I was happy and my heart was content knowing I have made the right decision marrying Ashwin Reynecke.
Memorable moments all include my mother helping me get dressed and my father walking me down the isle, because this is a priviledge denied to many which I do not take for granted. I feel blessed that I was graced with both my parents and the fact they shower my husband with so much love, this means the world to me.
Each and every one of our guests also made our day memorable, because they took the time to drive out and share our special day with us.
We departed 3 days after our wedding to Phuket, Thailand. It was a wonderful experience for both of us and most of all spending it with the love of my life, companion and best friend.
I am a very down to earth person and I wanted my dress to display my character and the person I am. Hendrik Vermeulen did an outstanding job designing my dress. A custom made dress is what I dreamt of ever since I was a little girl, because it compliments you as a person. With each meeting with JD and Hendrik Vermeulen, I was speechless with each fitting. It was like a build-up to something I never could have ever dreamed of. The day I went for my last fitting I was in tears, of joy ofcourse (^_^). The detail and just my couture dress as a whole was perfect in every way. February 24th, My big day arrived and I could not wait to get dressed. The way my dress felt was so light yet elegant and beautiful, I felt so comfortable throughout the day I barely wanted to take off my dress :).
My hair and make-up was done by the amazing Minke Du Plessis, she made me feel like a beautiful princess.
I wanted a sophisticated, minimilistic yet elegant look therefore I had very little jewellery. My pearl earings and head piece was it and my shoes also had touches of pearls from Charles and Keith.

We were hoping to prevent any inconvenience for our guests travelling all over to different venues so we chose a venue that provided accommodation for our guests. We got married at Houw Hoek Inn Hotel where the wedding ceremony and reception was held. Also majority of our guests stayed overnight to enjoy the ambiance and wedding with us, and we are most greatful for each and everyone.
The beauty of it all was that the venue was situated between the mountains and the scenery was absolutely stunning which made for good pictures for our guests and the bride and groom's couple shoot :)

The colour I opted for was rosegold for my maid of honor and she look absolutely amazing as the colour was a perfect fit and the dress was beautiful too.
