I hoped that it would rain somewhere throughout the day as it is seen as a blessing towards the marriage.
It was a beautiful sunny day and just as I climbed into the 1976 FJ40 Cruizer of my father, on our way to the chapel, it began to rain. It rained through the ceremony and for almost two hours afterwards.
Highlight: Walking down the isle, I saw my soon to be husbands' eyes full of tears, when I reached him all he could say was how beautiful I am.
It was a memorable ceremony full of life lessons. ♡
The rest of the day was full of happiness and love with all our close friends and family.
The first few days we visited San Lameer Resort Hotel & Spa
A stay over between Kwazulu-Natal and the Western Cape was Ingwe Africamps
Then the last part of our honeymoon was at the lovely Kolkol Mountain Lodge.
My hair was plain, blow dried and straightened(until we took our couple shoot in the rain)
Makeup: it was a clean, fresh, soft smokey eye
The Dress: I searched long and hard for the perfect dress and then I landed in the talented hands of Calegra Bridal House. The type of lace on the dress was extravagant. To soften the look for the chapel, I complimented the dress with a tulle over skirt with added lace on the top and scattered beading all over the bodice.

The decor was all hand made by either me and my husband or family members.
The decor look was a clean, soft look (the white) and rounded off with the Wooden palets that was burned and stained.
Flowers was done by my talented Grandmother♡ with the help of family members.
