Magical Moments

The most beautiful part of my day was seeing Richard for the first time, as I was walking down the aisle. It really put everything into perspective, and I was completely overwhelmed with emotion.
Richard had surprised me with the most exquisite heart shaped tanzanite pendant, and when I opened the beautiful wrapping, I understood exactly how much planning he had put into our day, and again it just amplified how truly special he is , and how much he loves me.

The Honeymoon

We went on a mini- moon to the incredible Pinnacle Point in Mossel Bay, which was a wedding present from our family.

My Special Day

I chose a rose themed French lace, trumpet style wedding gown. It was simply and extremely elegant, and was fitted perfectly for my frame. The wonderful ladies at Whimsical Bridal in Centurion helped me source my dream dress from Enzoani.
I wanted a very romantic and soft look, so the ever talented Candice Rossouw from Candi Make Up worked with me to create a beautifully contoured look, highlighting my eyes with gorgeous smoky look, and long lashes.
To finish the look, Bronwyn Bowie created a soft and curly up style, and completed it with two beautiful roses to match my bouquet and theme colours.
My wedding jewellery was created by Hayley Goodrich in Cape Town, and was made up to match the pearl and diamond theme in my wedding dresses' belt.
My shoes were a gift from my sister- in - law Nichola Baynes, and she travelled with them all the way from Dubai. Because my dress didn't have too many sparkles, I wanted a bit of bling to fully represent my personality and style, so the elaborate diamond bow finished the look of perfectly.

The Venue

We got married at the Red Ivory Venue in Magaliesburg. Some of our guests stayed in the venue, and some stayed within the surrounding area.

My Bridal Beauty Regime

As I had an extremely hectic work schedule leading up to my wedding day, I only really had time to have facials and micro needling done by my long time service providers, The New You in Glenanda.

Wedding Elements

We wanted a romantic setting , incorporating warm lights and candles, with a modern decor mix of glass and Roses. We chose cream, pinks and lilac roses for the tables and the bouquets. The lovely Czar from CS Events created the beautiful decor for our wedding day.

My Groom And His Groomsmen

Richard wore an exquisite tailored suit made by the Cavalier Suits in Rosebank. He chose a navy blue colour, with personalised features such as his initials on his shirt.
The groomsmen wore suits from Euro Suit, in a chrome colour.

Beautiful Bridesmaids

My bridesmaids wore gowns made by the Gelique store in Randburg. We chose a dusty pink colour with a tulle overlay, and they all looked stunning on the day.
