Magical Moments

The Highlight of our wedding was when the doors finally opened so I can walk towards my husband to be with my Dad beside me.
The best memory for me was when my Dad walked into the room and I could see his eyes tear up, it was a memorable moment, all their hard work has paid off.

The Honeymoon

No, we have not. We would like to do I tour through Europe. We will need to save up a bit in order to go on our dream honeymoon.

My Special Day

My wedding look was rustic with warm colors and the feel of fresh energy. I wanted it to describe myself and my partner for the love and energy we have in our relationship.
Hair and make-up was simple but elegant. I wanted to look like myself just cleaned up nicely.I used hair Art and Liz Reyneke.
My wedding dress was designed by designs by Marius, it was very comfortable and light, it was too big though. I had an idea and he made the dress to be practical.
My shoes was bought from the Dance Boutique in Edenvale, very comfortable to dance with.
My hair clip of flowers was done by Whimsical Floristry.

The Venue

Die Plaasdam, Sonlanpark.
Our guests stayed at Soetdoring Holiday resort about 1km from the venue.
The Venue is planing to expand and build their own accommodation.

My Bridal Beauty Regime

I used Herbalife for breakfast and a simple eating plan from the that basically guides you on how to put together your meals.
I did bootcamp twice a week for 3 months.
I used Clinique Skin products to help reduce breakouts and detox.

Wedding Elements

My decor was simple but elegant, i tried to keep the tables clean because I had a flower runner on all the tables. I had fairy-lights and Chinese balls hanging from the roof. I hanged my table names from the roof as well.
I had big wooden tables with steel chairs. We had maroon ribbons on all the chairs where ladies where seated.
Whimsical Flowers did all the flowers in the church and in reception.

My Groom And His Groomsmen

The Groom and groomsmen bought their clothes from Woolworths.
The belt he wore was from Markams, It had a bottle opener on.
We got the wooden bow ties and straps from the Chineese Mall.

Beautiful Bridesmaids

There was not specific look. we found the dress, it was the right color and fit the the groomsmen's clothes. Hair art did her hair to be comfortable and suited for the dress.

Marriage Officer

My Captured Moments

Deyowi Photography
They are an energetic team with so many ideas and tricks up their sleeve,
We did our engagement shoot at the venue earlier in the year so they can familiarize themselves with the surroundings and to make it easier the day of the wedding to find the perfect spots.

The Wedding Planner

The Venue coordinates most of it in conjunction with the MC.

Wedding Transport

Myself and my dad drove there :-)

Food & Cake

The Venue prepared the food and it was amazing!!!!!
The cake was done by the Cake Genie.

Wedding Stationery

I did.

The Reception and Entertainment

Our reception had a huge dance floor and in Afrikaans tradition they through maize flour on the dance floor, the venue had exactly that. We had enough space for everyone to enjoy themselves. i hired a nanny from Helpers@home and she took care of all the children. She was Brilliant with the children.
We went for dance classes @ JVR Dance academy for 10 lessons. They helped us a lot with our dance and polished up on all the dances so we could dance on anything.
QCE MUSIC PROMOTIONS did our music and lighting. They had something for everyone and the dance floor was always full of people.
