We actually met 9 years ago at a church camp, but I was too shy to talk to him much after the introduction, and we both ended up dating someone else for 2 years before meeting up again at another church function, where he originally intended to get back with his ex and met me instead. We were (and are) inseparable ever since. Finally, now that my degree is finished, we were able to get married and start this next phase in our lives together!
