Magical Moments

I woke up with the whole zoo in my stomach, instead of butterflies, full of excitement and nervous. Had breakfast and then got everything together and went to the venue for preparation.
The entire day was a memorable day for me, fairytales do come true and that Gods timing is perfect timing.
My memorable moments were:
Putting on my dress and looking at myself in the mirror and thinking wow Taz you look amazing.
Having Champagne with my girls
Father and bride reveal, what an emotional moment, I had to hold back the flood gates of tears.
Walking down the aisle with my dad and see my husband to be smiling and waiting for me ever so dashing.
High-fiving my groom after the pastor announced us husband and wife and then for kiss.
Walking out the chapel everyone cheering and throwing petals at us and the joy in their faces and ours.
Our first dance as husband and wife.
Seeing all our family and friends gathered together, enjoying themselves and spending this special day with us.
What a magical day!!!!!

My Special Day

My wedding look was elegant, classic, simple with a touch of glam. My hair was done by pin_up_hair_design I chose a half up, half down style with curls, my hair is very straight so I was a bit scared my curls would not hold but they did thanks to her handy work.
Make-up - done by KSP I wanted my make-up to have a bit of a pop especially my eyes and she delivered.
My wedding dress now this is a story, I was on leave in January 2018 and I met up with my sisters for breakfast at Cresta Sopping Centre, after breakfast my eldest sister said lets go have a look at this boutique closing down, we went and my eye caught the dress, I tried it on and a few others, but I loved the first one my eye caught. I got the dress at a bargain 50% off. I went home told my fiancé that I bought a dress and we are getting married this year :-). My jewellery my earrings were a special gift from a family friend, tear drop pearl earrings from Jenna Clifford I love them and will pass them down to my daughter, the rest of the jewelry was borrowed. Shoes were from Superbalist brand was Dolce Vita.

The Venue

After being together for 11 years!!!!! We tied the knot at Usambara Wedding Venue. Only 2 guests stayed over at the Usamabara Lodge.

My Bridal Beauty Regime

I was writing exams a week before the wedding, so I was extremely stressed out and kept breaking out, but stuck to healthy eating and lots of water and beauty rest.

Wedding Elements

I really wanted a romantic setting, blush pink, and rose gold with crystal, plain and simple and that's exactly what ZSAR Décor Hire delivered. I loved every little detail and she did an amazing job.

My Groom And His Groomsmen

My dashing groom wore a royal blue suit with a white shirt and white flower, white pocket sleeve, blue and white stripe tie and tan formal shoes.
The groomsmen wore tan suits, blue ties, blue pocket sleeves and brown shoes.

Beautiful Bridesmaids

My bridesmaids wore long elegant burgundy dresses. I told them that they could pick their own style as everyone has different tastes and that they need to be comfortable in what they wear. As long as it was the same colour and long.

Marriage Officer

Our amazing Pastor Nic Milton from Liberty Discovery Church

Nothing out of the ordinary, my sisters boyfriend transported us in his Volkswagen Amarok the morning of the wedding to the venue.

Food & Cake

The delicious, tasty food was prepared by Usamabara Wedding Venue themselves. I must say that all my guests really enjoyed the food and were very impressed.
Wedding cake was made by a lady name of

Wedding Stationery

My cousin designed printed our stationery as a gift to us. It was done beautifully and just what we requested.

The Reception and Entertainment

Our reception was where we had the most fun. We did take dance lessons as my husband has 2 left feet. The lessons wee done by Dance Palace our Choreographer's name was Stacey, very sweet, kind and patient. Our dance was thee most favourite part for me as this was out first real dance since we have been together. I think we surprised everyone with the moves and I have never felt so in love dancing with the love of my life. The song we chose was Tamia - Still, has so much meaning to us. DJ, sound and lighting was done by Epic Sound, amazing music kept us on the dance floor and we danced and partied the night away. we landed up taking the mike from the standing and started karaoeking the night away, rapping singing, so much fun that I had to tell my guests that the venue has closed and that they need to go!!!!
