My husband proposed on the most beautiful and magical way possible. He entered a show called "Sê net Ja" and was chosen to shoot our engagement for their show on the DSTV channel Via.
The whole day was pre planned in secret. He arranged for me to have my nails done and enjoy a coffee date with my best friend at the restaurant where we had our first date. When asking for the bill, the waitress returned with a big box and letter.
The box contained a white dress that he said I could not purchase the previous week. Just so that he could go purchase the dress in secret. Along with the dress was a letter instructing me to put it on as I was to meet him for a date the evening.
While waiting at the restaurant for him I received a call where he informed me that he will not be able to make it for our date due to work commitments and that our friend is nearby to take me home. At that stage my heart was shattered.
On our way home I asked our friend to stop as I needed to use the restroom. He told me that we were close to where they were having a work function and that we could make a stop there.
As we got to the roof top of Media 24 I stepped outside to be surprised by my husband and son standing under a beautifully lit structure. Our son had on a babygrow that read "Trou met Ons"
By then the tears was rolling down my face as I couldn't believe what was happening. He dropped to one knee and asked the big question :)
Every moment of our wedding day was special and we are so blessed to have such great family and friends
Gifts, laughter, dancing, food and wine are all memories that we will cherish for ever
We have not been on honeymoon as yet but it is in the plans for 2019
Our food was made by the on site chef from Duvon.
Our Cake was made by "Cakes by Anelize"
