Magical Moments

The highlight of our Wedding day was having all of our close friends and family share this special day with us. The most memorable moment of our Wedding was when we were announced as Husband and Wife. It was a very special moment indeed!

The Honeymoon

Yes, we did go on Honeymoon. We left to Cape Town for a week, on the Monday after the Wedding. It was the most beautiful, relaxing and exciting experience.

The Venue

My husband and I always wanted an intimate Temple Wedding. So we got married at the New Jagannath Puri Temple in Phoenix, Durban, with 100 guests. It was the most perfect setting.

My Captured Moments

Yajur Chotai of Yajur Chotai Photography captured our Wedding. He was so kind, accommodating and pleasant throughout the Wedding ceremony. He captured very special moments for us that we will treasure for a lifetime.

Food & Cake

The food and Wedding cake was prepared by the Temple staff, at Govindas restaurant. Our menu consisted of Vegetable breyani, Dhal, salad and Sojji. There was also Bombay Crush as a Welcome drink. Starters consisted of Chilli bites and Sev & Nuts, with a fruit punch.
The Wedding cake was a two layer cake with the first layer being Moist Chocolate cake, and the second layer being Carrot Cake, with a fresh cream frosting, and fresh red roses draping the side of the cake ending at the top with a Mr & Mrs cake Topper.

Wedding Stationery

Rennisha Larkin from Starsign Creations designed and printed our Wedding cards.
They were done to perfection, with the exact colours of our Wedding Scheme, and was the most pleasant & friendly person to work with.
She is based in Pietermaritzburg, and because of her excellent service we didn't mind driving the distance each time for our meetings.
