Oh my word, the whole entire day was a highlight! Everything was just perfect.
We haven't been on honeymoon as yet, maybe next year we will make plans.
I wanted a very clean and simple yet elegant look. So I for the decor I went with greens and whites and as simple and clean as possible. My hair I had done in and up-style with small curls on the sides - this was done by Tracy at Darling Hair. My make-up I kept very natural with browns and beige's done by the beautiful Jen from Hair and Make-up by Jen. The ladies in the bridal party also had their makeup done very naturally. The bridesmaids hair and make-up was done by Jen from Hair and Makeup by Jen.
My wedding dress was from De La Vida in Fourways. The amazing Dimitra was my consultant for my appointment and she found my dress on the first meeting. It was actually the very first dress I tried I on! I did not in a million year believe I would find THE RIGHT dress so quickly, but the lovely Dimitra listened to what I wanted and showed me she is just amazing at what he does.
My shoes I bought from Aldo in Fourways; a little heel with closed pointed toe and a strap around the ankle.
My lingerie was from Temptations - just a little white thong.
Jewellery for both myself and my bridal party comes from Smiths Manufacturing Jewellers.
We got married at the stunning venue Avianto. Many of the guests stayed the night there but obviously rooms are limited so others stayed around the Muldersdrift area
In terms of 'Health and fitness', my husband and I did about 2 hours of ballroom dancing at Strictly Ballroom in Broadacres, which we are continuing now :D
Teeth cleaning and whitening I had done at ThincDental in Rosebank.
And the lovely spa treatments....I was lucky enough to have a few treatments done the week leading up to the big day - my waxing and pedicure as well as an amazing back, neck and shoulders massage was done at La Donne. Then I was gifted another back and shoulder massage by one of my lovely bridesmaids and this I had Silk beauty salon. I then had my nails done at Magic in Pinelsopes.
All my decor, flowers and lighting was done by an amazing company in Muldersdrift called Event Inspirations. I threw a couple ideas at the them and they managed to mix them all about and make the perfect table settings for me. Our chairs and under plates were supplied by Avianto themselves
The groomsmen wore black suit trousers with waistcoats and ties that we had made by a family friend Vicky. The grooms suit and shirts as well as cuff links and tie were purchased from Kaliques
My beautiful bridesmaids all wore the lovely infinity dresses which were also all made by Vicky.
Our marriage officer was Jaco Bester from St Columbus Chruch
Ahhhhh, our photographer was just the most amazing guy ever! Henry O Photography. All we can say is wow wow wow. We cannot wait to receive all the images. He recommended a couple of videographers for us to use on the day and so we went with Bravo & Thatcher, what amazing people they all are.
Then while we were busy with photos, we kept our guests busy with the Fabulous Photobooths

All our food was prepared by the amazing Avianto chefs. Yum yum yum
Our invitations were designed and printed by Lily Young designs. The rest of the stationary was designed and printed by myself and my amazing sister

We did quite a different first dance so we had a special dance choreographed just for us by Strictly Dancing in Broadacres.
We had a DJ from Soundworx for pre-ceremony, pre-reception and reception. He even played a small part of our first dance
