Magical Moments

The most memorable moment of our wedding day was the moment I steped into the church, seeing my best friend and soul mate waiting for me at the end of the isle. The way he was looking back at me with tears in his eyes was like something from a fairytale.

The Honeymoon

Yes, we wen to this lovely place on a game farm that is called the Stonehouse lodge.
It was so romantic, just the 2 of us in the middle of nowhere. With a cocktail in hand an the miraculous view of the farm from the deck, we enjoyed the sunset an nature around us.

My Special Day

I was going for a classy elegant wedding look.

My dress was a Cindy Bam dress with the most amazing flower-lace detail on the top part curving my waist, with a low open back and flowing down elegantly

My veil was long and covered with lace flower lace detail on the bottom, accentuating the dress beautifully. Custom made by All things bridal SA

My hair was in a curly loose updo tied together with a bling pearl hair clip fom Lovisa. My hair was done hy Stay makeup and beauty.

I wore bridal ballet shoes custom made by Khali bridal ballet shoes. Beautiful white with lace and pearl details.

The Venue

We got married at the most beautiful tree house-like venue on a game farm in Nylstroom called Metsi-Metsi County House and Venue.

It was absolutely breath taking. The venue's wood decks at different levels covered with fairylights, protea's and leaves. Giving it a romantic tree house feel.

My Bridal Beauty Regime

I tried to stay healthy, eat right, exercise ect.

I tried to not use any new products on my skin as my skin is quite sensitive. I had my hair coloured at my local hairdresser, went for a manicure and pedicure and got all waxing done.

I was happy with my skin color and so just went for a couple of sunbed sessions.

I used all natural remedies to keep my teeth beautiful and white.

Wedding Elements

My venue did all of this.

It was absolutely breath taking. The venue's wood decks at different levels, build next to an Old Huge tree, covered with fairylights, protea's and leaves. Giving it a wonderful romantic tree house feel.

The tablets and chairs was all wood. The table decor was rustic with golden candelholders, leaves draped over the table with hints of white, purple and pink flowers as well as a couple of beautiful King proteas.
The wooden, round and gold table numbers hung from the sealing over each table.

My Groom And His Groomsmen

My Hubby wore a beautiful fitted cheno and a white button up shirt with hints of blue. Accessorized with a genuine leather bow tie, suspenders and belt from a place in Cape Town that recently unfortunately closed. He was wearing leather lace up boot like shoes, A leather rustic Fossil watch and Carolina Herrera 212 perfume.

His groomsman was clothed in a Chino, white butten-up shirts and leather suspenders.

Beautiful Bridesmaids

My bridesmaids was dresses in long beautiful dresses from Gelique.

They each had a different type of dress.

The one was dressed in sage and the other in a dusty pink dress, the tops was covers with lace.

Marriage Officer

Our Marriage officer was also the person who baptised me. A wonderful man who portrayed our love beautifully in the sermon

My Captured Moments

Our photographer and videographer was a couple working together as a team. Their company is called Mense met Gesigte.

They capture every moment and person so beautifully! It was a dream to have them at our wedding, they are amazing people.

The Wedding Planner

Yes, my planner was the owner of the venue's daughter Nadia. She was amazing and helped us to build our perfect wedding.

Food & Cake

Our venue made the most amazing food and our Cake.
The good was to die for.

Our cake with berry and cream cheese filling was a big hit.

Wedding Stationery

Our wooden stationery was made by Liqerish Lasercut and design.
