Magical Moments

So many to mention, but my favourite was when my husband and I danced for our first song together. My perfect moment, and that was the point when all the months of planning & stressing felt so worth it!

The Honeymoon

Yes, we went to Durban for 2 nights.

Wedding Gallery

My Special Day

I was dressed in Traditional Hindu attire. My hair was done by my brother in-law who currently does hair & make up in his spare time. My make up was done by Sam le Roux in Pietermaritzburg. My wedding outfit was from Sneha Creations in Pietermaritzburg. All accessories were purchased from different suppliers and put together.

The Venue

We got married at the Natal Deaf & Blind Society Hall in Pietermaritzburg. There was no accommodation available at the venue, so alternative accommodation in the Scottsville area was booked.

My Bridal Beauty Regime

I just exercised at least 2 to 3 times a week, did some intermittent fasting to help with some weight loss and drank lots of water.

Wedding Elements

My decor was done by White Heart catering, I had artificial flowers for my stage set up. All items were provided by White Heart. Lighting was brought in by the photographer, Mishaan Maharaj of Dream Pixel.

My Groom And His Groomsmen

We had no groomsmen, the groom was dressed in traditional attire by Leela's boutique in Fordsburg.

Beautiful Bridesmaids

We had no bridesmaids.

My Captured Moments

Mishaan Maharaj from Dream Pixel was our photographer & Rakesh from Media Productions did our videography.

The Wedding Planner

Wedding Transport

I used my brother in-laws C180, Mercedes Benz as my wedding car.

Food & Cake

It was a family friend who cooked for our wedding & the cake was done by Zee's delights

Wedding Stationery

I did all my designs on my own & got Dynamite Printers to help with the printing.

The Reception and Entertainment

No dance lessons were taken. We had a DJ & MC by the name of Lyle Chellan. He handled the sound and lighting. We also had a live band, this was the Heartbeats from Pretoria and they provided sound as well.
