The highlight was definetly marrying my best friend, nothing could've made me happier on that day. I had so much fun taking pictures with friends and family, dancing our feet of having pink candyfloss and of course breaking some plates! This was truly the most memorable day of our lifes!
We had the most romantic honeymoon, and it was definetly the best of both worlds... Our first 2 nights we spent at Monte Casino's Palazzo Hotel, from there we were of to Fordoun Hotel & Spa to spend 2 nights there. From there we drove to the Oyster Box Hotel to spend 4 nighs there. After all the 'roadtrippin' we flew to Mauritius to beachcomber La Paradis Hotel to spend the rest of our honeymoon on the beach with snorkeling, and lots of cocktails!
My wedding look was the old classic,elegant look. My hair was put up with a crown from my grandmother on her wedding day, my make up was a soft classy look. I had a satin and lace dress from Pronovias De LaVida, and on the dress I had a small dove brooch I inherrited from my great grandmothers wedding. My shoes were lace tied with a bow from Anella shoes, I also had a matching pair with my husband from Carvella ltd edition wich we wore later the night.
My jewellery was pearl earings from my mother as a gift from NWJ and a tennis bracelet I received for my 21st birthday the week before.

We got married on Pecanstream Farm, Hartbeespoortdam. Its a peccanut farm my parents bought 6 months before our wedding, and we had to start building it up into a wedding venue, as I wanted a forest with an outdoor reception.
My guests stayed the night at different guest houses in Mill Lane.
My spa/skin treatments I had at Cradle Health Spa in Hartbeespoortdam.
My decor was lots of flowers, I love the nature and roses. The flowers were breathtaking... We had to rent everything from golden tiffany chairs, wooden tables, wooden candelabras,chandeliers, a wooden floor built for dancing, wine barrels, canapes chairs. We had whisterias hanging in the forest, with a chandelier in the front with wooden benches in the forest we had made for the wedding... Our reception was in a square with the dancefloor in the middle, Our tables had flower runners, with candles on the table aswell as candelabras on the tables...
The groom wore black,white and gold he found his suit from an exclusive suit shop. The groomsmen and paige boys wore blue suits where they found the suits from Woolworths and Eurosuit.

My 4 bridesmaids wore light blue, they dresses were made, and all of them had the opportunity to choose their own top pattern according to them. My 2 flower girls wore light pink, the ones dress was from H&M kids and the other one was made.

My videographer was JPB Media with stunning video footage, and never to be seen at the wedding..
My photo booth was made out of flowers!

I was transported in a Horse and Carriage with my father.
Union Caterers prepared all our food from canapes, starters to desserts, the food was amazing! We had 8 desserts and some Macaroons at the end from Nicole's Macaroons. My wedding cake was made by my sister Anke Terblanche, it just made it more special!
We also entertained our guests with huge candyfloss that was being made for them during the evening to enjoy, with a glass of slush puppy in the other hand!
My stationery was printed by Pistachio Designs. We had passport invitations sent to each person.
Sound and lighting was done by Alexi a greek DJ. We had a live singer and guitarist at the canapes, Phillipe he is a french singer.
