We were blessed with a beautiful summer day and everything went according to plan.
When the bell rang at the ceremony I knew it was a dream came true:
One look at my groom, my whole life felled in line. Before I called him mine, I prayed for him. I can't believe it's true,
I get to love him, it's the best thing I'll ever do.. Whatever may come, his heart I will choose and that's a promise I made that day.
The way he looked at me, it changes who I am. I am undone and I thank God once again.
They say love is a journey, I promise that I'll never leave. When it's too heavy to carry, remember this moment with me...
We went to a lodge near the Kruger National park, named Hulala lakeside lodge. We had our own private pool, jacuzzi and room service for the lazy days. The staff and service was great. The three course candle light dinner was a real delight. We really enjoyed the spa treatments, cocktails and boat cruise at sunset.Definitely a holiday to remember..... xoxo
I had a beautiful off shoulder lace dress with a lot of detail. I wore comfortable pumps and it was exactly what I wanted. My make up was very natural and my jewelry was silver with pearls and little "diamonds" it looked perfect with the whole look.
We got married at The Bosboma in Kameeldrift. The venue have a rustic bush veld look and a calm, peaceful atmosphere. We've booked some rooms at Roodevallei country lodge for the night.
I drank a lot of water, tried to eat healthy and every morning I drank a Herbalife shake. I also exercise at the gym.
I liked the vintage/rustic look and made most of the decorations myself. We didn't need a lot of decor because the venue was already perfect on it's own. Our special day was really a fairy tale with all the lace, pearls, fairy lights,candles, light purple roses, and succulent rock roses.
The groom wore a light beige suit with a lavender tie, and dark brown shoes. The groomsmen wore khaki chino's and white shirts with beige bow ties and suspenders. They all looked really handsome....
I had seven bridesmaids and two flower girls. The bridesmaids wore mint infinity dresses from Gelique and the girls wore short lace mint dresses that we bought at Zipp Zone. They all looked beautiful !!!!!

We used Francios and Riaan at Faded Edges for our photos. We felt really relaxed with them and they made everything so much fun. They were very professional, funny and they captured all the photos we wanted from our fairy tale wedding.
I had a wedding planner who helped me the day, but I did most of the planning and coordination myself. I enjoyed every moment of it....
All my food was prepared by The Bosboma in Kameeldrift and we bought a delicious Caramel swirl cake at Woolworths and made chocolate doughnuts for the guests.
I designed and printed our stationery.............
The food was delicious and the music was perfect. Mountain beats did our music and a violinist and clarinet player played some beautiful music at the ceremony. My sister's daughter sang our Father who are in heaven beautifully.
Our first dance was magical and very special!!
The rest of the night we enjoyed with our friends and family and we danced the night away...
