Every single moment of our wedding day was special.
I was blessed to have my mother walk me down the aisle while I was cradling a picture of my dad in my hands, next to my bouquet, in a way it was like they both walked me down the aisle.
My father-in-law officiated our vows, which made it SO much more special.
And then finally...getting to say, “I do” to my best friend and the love of my life, was the most special and memorable moment of the day
We were blessed enough to go on a beautiful honeymoon to Bali.
It was my husbands best kept secret. He kept it a secret up until we checked in.
The lovely check in lady told me where we were going whilst my husband caught my reaction on camera.
It was the perfect way to celebrate our new lives together.
I wanted a romantic and feminine look for our wedding day.
My bold French laced wedding dress, designed by Milla Nova, was purchased from Vonvé – Bridal Couture.
My dress was hand stitched in Europe and then customized by Vonvé who also made my garters from my dresses lace.
My hair was half up, half down with soft romantic curls cascading down my one shoulder and the other half was braided and kept in place with a diamond hair piece. Done by Wendy @ 90° Hair Emporium.
To get fuller and longer hair, I had my extensions done by Hannes @ Effects hair, who use Le Belle Hair Extensions.
I love my fuller, longer and healthy hair. (still wearing them)
My make-up was done by the stunning and talented Delaney Siebert who made me look and feel...well like a bride. She pulled the whole look together and my makeup looked beautiful throughout the entire evening.
My jewelry from Swarovski, was crystal earrings and a crystal bracelet to compliment my overall look.
My manicure and pedicure was done by the one and only Tammy Taylor Faerie Glen, that incorporated the theme of our wedding into my nails. I absolutely LOVED my nails.

We got married in Somerset West, Lourensford Wine Estate on the Polo field at the Laurent Venue where we also had our reception. Our reception hall had massive glass windows that allowed our guests a full view of the breathtakingly beautiful venue.
Our accommodation was at The Spanish Farm Guest Lodge, where our view was the ENTIRE Somerset West, and the beauty of the Western Cape. They were unbelievably accommodating and friendly during our stay and will definitely see us again.

I religiously followed a beauty regime I found on an App called ‘The Vow’
I moisturized my body and face twice a day. Exfoliated once a week. And deep conditioned my hair once a week.
I worked out between 4-6 times a week, where I balanced my cardio and weight training to focus on conditioning my body. I also followed a healthy nutritious diet.
I am a firm believer in vitamins and made sure I took them every day.
It helped me with stress, my hormones, skin and hair.
Our table décor we wanted to create something elegant and romantic with a touch of edgy.
We combined sequence navy and grey to create beautiful tables capes, for the florists to work with.
The florals were beautiful cream, white tones and lush greenery to compliment our navy silver and grey colour scheme. Lighting we created by beautiful fairy light drops at various areas in the venue to bring in spacing as well as create a whimsical feel.
The furniture was a modern touch of sleek furniture, and not to forget gorgeous ghost chairs to accompany the table settings

My husband was handsomely kitted out in his perfectly fitted, custom made suit by ZED Menswear, who also supplied his crisp white shirt, navy blue belt and shoes.
His cufflinks are from Swarovski.

My bridesmaids had a classic, clean look to their style.
Each with their own beautiful, romantic up do hairstyles and a classic smoky eyed makeup look with a juicy color on their lips. Their short-long bell dresses were made from a gunmetal grey duchess satin, paired with a classy, thin black strapped heal.
I knew the exact look I wanted for them within the first 2 weeks of planning the wedding. They looked absolutely beautiful.

My incredible father-in-law, Senior Pastor George Lehman at the Christian Motorcycle Church in Cape Town, officiated our marriage. Everyone was touched by his beautiful word that God placed on his heart. He is a man we admire and look up to, it made the ceremony unbelievably special and memorable.

As soon as we saw their work we fell in love with them. They captured the emotions and love of the day perfectly. They made us so comfortable in front of the cameras.

We were quite stressed about getting married in the Western Cape, because we live in Joburg, but Jessica made the entire process so easy and enjoyable. She was born to make a bride’s dreams come true. I watched my fairy tale wedding come to life in her hands. She has incredible insight and is an absolute visionary. Jessica made the entire process stress free and especially our wedding day run smoothly. She is heaven sent and we count ourselves blessed to have had her and her team plan our wedding.

Transport for our wedding was supplied by my husbands Uncle Ronny, who took me from Spanish Farm to our venue in his fire red Ferrari 612 scaglietti. We got there...pretty fast.
Our food was a MASSIVE hit. From the canapés, starters through to the dessert canapés, everything was delicious and excellently presented. Our guests couldn’t get enough, luckily there was a generous amount of food.
Our beautiful three tier wedding cake was made by Lion Heart. Our cake was decorated according to our theme. It tasted as good as it looked.

We had our 1st dance choreographed and went for lessons with two private dance choreographers. We had so much fun doing it and it made it so much more special.
Our DJ was the incredible DJ NEIL & CO, that read the moments and crowd so well. He created a tranquil and romantic feel when it was necessary and when it was time for the mood to change to a more upbeat party setting, he did so easily. He edited songs as needed and eagerly assisted us with anything we needed help with. A DJ can make or break a wedding…and Neil DEFINITELY made ours!
We were blessed to have our guests entertained by the legendary band: The Sweet Resistance (opening band for Live touring South Africa in November 2017). They sounded amazing, we were absolutely spoiled to have them play at our wedding.
