Magical Moments

The most memorable moments include my maid of honor having to tie my wedding shoes, staying up to finish the ceremony programs, the clink of champagne glasses with the bridesmaids, seeing my handsome husband at the alter and our first kiss.

The Honeymoon

We were fortunate to have two destinations. The first was to Crystal Springs in Pilgrim's Rest and thereafter a week in beautiful Zanzibar.

My Special Day

My hair and make up artist was amazing, helpful and made me feel at ease. I preferred a more natural make up look with curls and a pretty clip. The shoes were open toed, decorated with Diamante. My dress was form fitting with ruffles at the bottom for a flattering finish. I also preferred the sweetheart neckline. For jewellery, I had chosen a clean pearl necklace and earrings.

The Venue

We got married at Heavenly Events Venue in Vanderbijl Park. Guests were encouraged to book onsite accommodation for their own bill.

My Bridal Beauty Regime

I bought teeth whitening toothpaste, which had to be used 3 weeks prior to the wedding day. Water and a good night's sleep is essential. A good, thick lotion helped keep my skin soft.
When I had a few minutes to spare, I would jog to keep the stress levels low.

Wedding Elements

The decor included white table linen and cobalt blue napkins. The center pieces consisted of trumpet vases with blue flowers inside and candles. We had lighting throughout the venue for a romantic finish.

The Wedding Planner

Everything from the smallest detail was planned for by ourselves. The venue coordinator prepared all decor, meals and lighting.
