I wanted a bohemian sort of feel to the wedding. Rustic and relaxed.
I rented my dress from VIP Brides and they customised the dress to make it my own by adding sleeves to it.
My jewellery was all family pieces. My pearl earrings were from my mom and my necklace is from my great grandmother.
My hair and makeup was by the phenomenal makeup by Charalle. she was amazing creative and listen to my requests of going glamorous for the day. I thoughts were if i'm going to get someone to do my make up I wanted to go all out!
We got married at the wonderful Hilton Bush lodge in Hilton near Pietermaritzburg. Some guest did stay over at the lodge and really enjoyed the experience. The wedding co-ordinator, Lauren Walsh, is amazing and handled everything on the day and helped me with planning and with ideas. We can not be more happy that we choose Hilton Bush lodge to get married at.
My wedding was very DIY. I made lace dream catchers and hand painted all the signs and did all the flower arrangements.
Gordon Stuart Landscaping Company did my bouquets and button holes.
We contact Dream Ceremonies and Warwick Nelson officiated our wedding.
Our Photographer was the amazing Tanya Jacobs. She made the experience so relaxed and comfortable and we can not thank her enough for her hard work and making us look so good.
We were very lucky that Craig's Aunt made our wedding cake as a gift for our wedding.
