How did your love story begin?

Our story began as high school sweethearts. My husband and my cousin are school friends and Kunal and I used to see each other often at my grandparents house. He always helped with home work and was very sweet to me. He became my best friend I could tell him anything and when ever I saw him I would become superbly excited, happy and bubbly. He always gave me that warm fuzzy feeling and still does. He was part of my many life events, my 16th birthday ,when I got my matric results, when I got my learner's license and even my driver license. He has always supported me unconditionally in everything I did and still does support me in the same way.

Tell us all about the proposal.

Well we didn't have an over the top proposal but we had a lovely traditional Indian proposal. Were both our families gathered in the first step of us uniting as husband and wife. It was a simple blue high tea event. #simpleiswhatiam

Magical Moments

So we had a 3 day wedding event
Being indian means full granduar, colour, dance, music and great food
My henna ceremony skit was the highlight as it was the first night which we did a skit of how we met and our dating life journey
On my wedding day the highlight was when I saw my husband as I walked down the Isle
The second highlight was when he adorned me with sacred red powder called Sindoor which defines a Hindu married lady.
The last highlight was the ending announcment as mrs and full bubbles appeared on stage and he kissed me on my forehead.

The Honeymoon

Yes we did go for honeymoon. We went to Cape Town Camps Bay. Cape Town has always been a favourite place for us it's our happy place and we simply loved every bit of our honeymoon in the cape. It was romantically cold and a beautiful winter honeymoon.
