Magical Moments

God blessed our day with the most wonderful family and friends that attended our wedding,
including all 4 seasons! Absolutely everything went as planned! My King was waiting for me
on the other side and I couldn't wait to become his Queen!
The most memorable moment would be when my Dad walked into the room and saw
me dressed in white for the first time the day! That look of love, and "my little girl is all grown-up
now", I will never forget.

The Honeymoon

Bali, the country of ginger and lemon grass and rice was definitely the most romantic
honeymoon destination! My 'hugsband" really outdid himself!

My Special Day

Our wedding style was a Classical French Country look.
Hair and Makeup was done by the two most amazing ladies from Nelspruit, Mpumalanga.
I wanted to look beter than every other day but also natural. They really worked very carefully
and did what I as a bride wanted. I will recommend them any day!

My dearest mother gave me the most gorgeous diamond bracelet. I wore pearl and crystal earrings
and a pearl (something old) bracelet with the new. And it absolutely worked very well with the dress!!
Around my waist, I had a ribbon with some bling just to break the ivory color of the dress, open low back
with sequence and pearls.

Lize from Lize Designs was the designer of the dress and also made it herself! She is so professional and I
would recommend her! She really knows how to keep a bride happy and at ease! She is very patient, kind,
and LOVES her career in dressmaking!!

The shoes was also something old and very classical. It was a lace booty that was tied with ribbons and
was the exact color of the dress.

The Venue

We got married at The Silver Sixpence Wedding Venue close to Belfast.
What a beautiful french, country style venue. With horses, wild animals
and a garden that compliments the country style natural forests.
We got married in the forest and reception was in the big barn.

It was definitely a magical day that turned even more beautiful with the
lit bom fires and fairy lights inside the venue. It was freezing cold, but with
all the love and fires, no cold could blizz the warmth and love that was shared.

Wedding Elements

Mandy from the Silver Sixpence and our wedding coordinator did amazing work.
Our flowers were soft pink roses, whites, some greens and lots of proteas.
We wanted to keep everything minimalist but clean and soft and magical.
And that is exactly what she did!! We were taken away with her work.
