Everyone says that this day goes by so quick, and they are not kidding. There are a few moments that stood out above the rest. Firstly was seeing my bridesmaids for the first time in my dress. It was so emotional, and the look on their faces seeing my dress for the first time was priceless. Secondly, walking to the church with my dad, realising that this is the moment we've been hoping and praying for since i was a little girl. Thirdly, seeing my soon-to-be husband waiting for me in the church. That emotions just overflowed, and I cried all the way, even during the ceremony. Such a treasured feeling.
No we did not go on honeymoon, We want to go travel on our first year anniversary.
As a little girl you always dream about your wedding day, the hair, the dress, the shoes and the make-up. Well I had a designer (Kobus Rautenbach Couture) who designed and made my dress for me, so that it fits perfectly. It had lace, pearls and swarovski crystals. Everything a girls could dream of. We got married at Black Horse Brewery in Magaliesburg. They do have accommodation for guests on the property, some of the guests had to book separate accommodation due to the limited space available.
I am quite active, so i did not change any fitness routine, or started a new one for the wedding. I did go for a few facials before the wedding, just to make sure that all the bad monsters underneath the skin doesn't make an appearance.
My family and I did all the flowers and stationary ourselves. We saved a lot of money that way, yes it did take a few extra hours, but it was worth it. Furniture was included in the venue hire. We bought all the table vases and candle holders from Mr. Price Home.
The groom and groomsmen wore Royal blue suits, with leather accessories. Bow ties made by Theron & Theron.

We had the opportunity to use a wonderful photographer. Her name is Shantel, and her company name is Shanti-V Photography. She also did our engagement shoot. We used Duck Soup Productions to do our Videography. Walter and Tenn captured the day. We made use of Hello-Photobooth. Our guests loved it.
No we planned our whole wedding by ourselves.
We stayed at the venue, so we did not use transportation.
The venue provided and prepared the food for the evening event and breakfast the next morning. We bought the cake at a local bakery in Potchefstroom.
