We were fortunate enough to disappear for two weeks to the beautiful Langkawi, Malaysia and Koh Lipe, Thailand for a tropical adventure of note! From beach bumming, snorkling until our hands looked like we're 90, jet ski island hopping and hiking up spectacular waterfalls. It was a dream come true!
Simplicity. Small details on a simple, yet classy dress. Hair and makeup was done by Trudie Baasden, in who's salon I've been since I was a little girl. She drove all the way to the Western Cape to help on my big day. I've had satin ballet shoes made for the big day with rubber soles, so perfect for being on your feet all day and it looked gorgeous! Jewellery my mom was my big hero - my "something borrowed" was her pearl necklace, and she bought me a matching bracelet as a gift. I then spoiled myself with pearl teardrop earrings to match.
We celebrated the day at Rusticana. Excellent service!! And the price was pretty good for a wedding venue. The food was as excellent as the service.
