My fairytale adventure had finally begun waking up to a beautiful warm sunny day, greeted by my energetic bridal team who were supportive and welcomed my service providers who were all high-spirited and ready for MY BIG DAY. The highlight for me was taken to the ceremony by a horse & carriage which was an unexpected surprise to my guests, followed by having great fun at our creative shoot and seeing the entire night through with dancing the night away.
The honeymoon was a complete surprise for me as my husband had planned a trip to Cape Town for a week and ending it off with another week in Margate.
I felt like a princess with my hair being an easy curl half up half down hairstyle, with a fairytale wedding dress finished off with diamante bling accessories.
We got married within the beautiful surrounds, and calming melody of the wind through the rustling sugarcane at Collisheen Estate, Boma- which was the perfect wedding venue for our outdoor feel.
Staying calm and enjoying the experience of putting our own personal touches to our special day.
Our theme was rustic yet elegant, using pastel shades throughout various elements.
My Groom's formal attire was of a lighter shade of silver grey with white trimmings and his Groomsmen complemented with a slightly darker shade of grey.
My Bridesmaids and Flower Girl had a full length dress with lace and satin, each wearing a different pastel shade.
My loving and caring Mom, and I planned the entire wedding together from the invites right down to finest details.
My Father and I arrived to the Chapel on a Horse & Carriage.
Food was prepared by the Collisheen Estate Chef.
We had a DJ, Riaan Brits who was excellent in coordinating the music.
