How did your love story begin?

We have social media to thank for our love story. 5 years ago my no husband sent me a message via Facebook. I checked into hospital for a regular check up and he asked if I was "okay?". The rest is history.

Tell us all about the proposal.

The proposal was cute. We went out to one of our favourite restaurant Grazia Fine Food and Wine "Date Night". We had a fun night chatting away. Then when dessert came he organized with the restaurant to place the ring on the ice cream. As cheesy as it may be I loved it.

The Honeymoon

We have not been on honeymoon yet. We plan to go to Italy next year.

My Special Day

My wedding look was classic and elegant.
Hair - I wanted the whole long hair curl look but when I saw it on the day I totally changed to elegant do.
Makeup - I went with less is more look. I wanted to look beautiful but not "caked"up and still wanted to look myself.
Wedding Dress - I have never worn a ball gown. When trying on dresses it was the last dress I tried on and totally fell inlove with it.
Shoes - Comfort was the order of the day so I went for a classic strappy nude sandal with a touch of diamante.
Lingerie - Comfortable but nice lacy number from Woolies.
Jewellery and Accessories - I am a very simple girl and don't usually accessorize or wear a lot of jewellery. I went with a simple drop diamond earing and a simple bracelet. I did not want anything on my neck.

The Venue

The wedding ceremony was held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
The wedding reception was held at Buffalo Park Cricket Stadium in the Presidents Suite.

My Bridal Beauty Regime

Lots of water and walking leading up to the wedding.
I had eyelash extensions but no fancy spa treatments.

Wedding Elements

I would describe my decor as Opulent Elegance.
All white with a touch of silver.
White Roses with a touch of greenery.
Clear Phoenix chairs.
White dancefloor.

My Groom And His Groomsmen

The groom wore a slim fit black tuxedo. He had a White blazer for the ceremony and changed into Black for the reception. Suits were all hired from Bestman Suit Hire. The groomsmen all wore black tuxedo's.

Beautiful Bridesmaids

The Bridesmaid wore a silver dresses. We got the look from YDE.

Marriage Officer

Our priest married us. Father Peter Whitehead at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

My Captured Moments

Dane Fortein Photography captured the day. He has done many of our photoshoots in the past. We decided on him because we know him and felt comfortable.
Slik Media was our videographer. He is well known in the area and does good work.
We did not have a photobooth but had a Flowerwall. It was all white with our wedding "logo". Everyone enjoyed posing infront of this wall.

The Wedding Planner

I planned the wedding myself so no coordinator.

Wedding Transport

The bridal car was a Mercedez Benz. ML.

Food & Cake

The staff at Buffalo Park Cricket Stadium did all the catering.
Bronwyn from Bees Cupcake Corner did our stunning cake.

Wedding Stationery

My friend/graphic designer (Rae Alexander) designed our wedding stationery and it was printed by Esenbee Design and Print.

The Reception and Entertainment

We did not take any dance lessons. Natural dance skills.
Dj Nade did our sound and lighting. He was brilliant and left family and friends asking for more till 2 in the morning.
