The Venue

With friends and family travelling from near and far, we opted for a Wedding weekend to maximise the time that we could spend with everyone. We chose a stunning venue just outside Riebeek Kasteel called Goedgedacht Farm. A working Olive farm with big old trees and a lovely big barn with a vine covered verrandah. It has an interdenominational church on the premises too with high ceilings and big window which stream in light.

Our guests started arriving from the Thursday evening and were staying in very comfortable rooms, scattered in "blocks" on the farm. The "blocks" worked well for us as we were able to put a bit of distance between the older family and the party crowd.
