My most memorable moments of the day was 1 .Walking down the aisle and seeing my handsome husband to be waiting for me at the end of the aisle ..almost in tears .
2. When we exchanged vows that we had written for each other, his was in the form of a poem.
3. Finally saying i do and becoming Mrs Sheldon Clinton Francis.
4. Walking into our reception venue and seeing how beautifully set up it was , and celebrating it with family and very close friends.
We didn't really have a honeymoon so to speak . We did however booked 2 nights away at The Riverside Hotel and Spa.
We went for the vintage look . My dress was simple but beautiful , ballgown vintage look. It was cream with stretch less detailing , with some pearl and diamante bead work . My accessories were pearls. My hair was in a loose pony with curls styled by my sister in law Ronese Mopp, added a diamante head piece to give it a princess effect. My shoes were navy blue tying up with my colours for the wedding which where navy and Dusty pink. My make up was professionally done by coming up , make up artist Aisha.She did my make up perfectly, exactly what i asked for ,which was a natural look ,leaning onto a pink mauve colour /effect .I wore white lingerie.
I got married in Durban .
It was local so guests didn't need to stay over.
My Ceremony was held at Kingdom Living Ministries ,in Newlands East and done by my Pastor ,my Spiritula Father,my Mentor , Dr Robert Ross. This is the church where I fellowship / Attend.
My reception was as St Johns Hall in Pinetown.
All I did was exercise at least 3 times a day , tried to eat right and get enough sleep. Getting enough exercise and sleep is very important .

My decor was a very simple ..but different vintage look,done by two of my closest friends Andre Meintkies and Tarryn Adams. Incorporated the navy with a touch of pink beautifully . Using navy overlays and Hessian cloth. They were very creative when setting up the reception decor. I love it.
The groomsmen were dressed in beige linen suits, white shirts ,navy bowties and cuff links,black shoes. The groom was dressed in 3 piece navy suit,white shirt and oak coloured shoes,Dusty tie ( looked so handsome).Paige boy was dressed in a beige pants , white shirt , navy bowtie and shoes.
My maid of honour and bridesmaid both wore navy dresses and navy heels. 1 dress long and the other knee length. My flower girls wore a white dress with Dusty pink detailing and a flower head piece.

I was the wedding planner for my wedding . With the help of friends and family .
Transport was provided for by my brother Nadeem Whitby and my best friend and maid of honour Cherise Swartz.
The food was prepared by family members .Thank you to Ayesha Whitby, Racquel Whitby ,Gregory Whitby,Ursula, Radlyn and Roberta De Esclana , Michelle ,Sebastian and Tarryn Adams, Mark and Andre Meintjies, Newton and Rochelle Morgan.Ronese Mopp for My cupcakes.
My wedding cake was done by Tarryn Adams ,it was a beautiful vanilla sponge ,naked cake.
I designed and printes my own invites . My thank you souviner ..bookmarks were printed and designed by Tarryn Green ,a good friend of mine.
No dance lessons are needed..lol.My husband and I are naturals.Adrian Joseph was kind enough to offer his dj services .
