Magical Moments

We got married in the small town, Robertson, situated in the Western Cape. Since I was a young girl I wanted to get married in the beautiful Dutch Reformed Church in the middle of the town. This I never thought will be possible because I grew up in Robertson and my husband in Namibia. Most of our family also got married in the same church which made it even more special. The day was perfect and I wouldn't want to change enything even if I could. I would have liked to stop the clock for a few hours only to enjoy the amazing moments for longer.
There were so many higlights from getting done early morning with my bridesmaids (who were friends I met from different stages in my life) , putting my dress on (which made me feel like a real princess), my father walking me down the long red isle, seeing my husbands face for the first time wearing my dress, Joshua Na Die Reen(Jaques de Villiers) congratulating us through a live video,to the games we played and being festive with friends and family.
The most special moment was when Morne (my husband) carried me into the venue hall where all our guests were waiting for us.
I remember the joyful room we walked into and all the smiles I saw on our guests faces while they were cheering.

Marrying the perfect life partner and having the wedding any girl will dream about made me such a thankful bride.

The Honeymoon

Our honeymoon was in Mosselbay. We visited Hartenbos, George and beautifull Knysna.
One of the highlights of our honeymoon was when we went to go "kloofing" in the mountians of George.
"Kloofing" was one of the biggest adventures and challenges I have ever done. We climbed over rocks, swam under waterfalls, did absailing and jumped into very deep waterholes. The height of the one jump was almost 10m. My husband saw I was a bit scared to jump while he was already in the water. He them climbed up the rocks again, took my hand and jumped with me.

The Venue

Our venue was held at Bon Cap Guest Farm and Wedding venue situated +/- 15km outside Robertson on Route 62.
We received excellent service while we were planning our wedding from another country.
The canapes and main course were outstanding.
Some of our guests stayed overnight in the cottages on the farm.
