Magical Moments

1.Walking down the aisle to "A thousand years by Christina Perry" and watching my husband’s eyes swell up with tears as this was a song that we held very close to our hearts, It was at that moment I knew that fairytales do exist. The butterflies, the anxiety, the joy, the goosebumps, and mainly the LOVE that we felt in that one moment is unexplainable.

2.Seeing my dad get emotional when he handed me over to my husband.

3.Having canapés on the Lawn/pool deck at our stunning venue (Durban Country Club), Just being able to socialize with our guests, and being able to have a good laugh after we said “I Do” was absolutely amazing.

4.Entering our reception and being introduced as Mr and Mrs Singh with “Never too much by Luther Vandross “ playing in the background. Very very special moment for Andrew and I, as we danced for the same song at our matric prom. (Yes! From prom partners to life partners!)

5.Our reception was filled with joy, laughter and LOVE. We were so blessed to have 200 of our closest family and friends join us, it was so warm and loving ,we could really feel two families coming together as one. Most memorable day of my life!

6.Our super cool MC Mr Deon Govender who kept us entertained throughout the evening!

7.Our first dance as husband and wife was most definitely the highlight of the day, we danced to “I’m ready by Tevin Campbell” .it was a significant moment because at 21 years old we are both very much in love and READY to build our lives together! The both of us just let loose and danced the night away!

8.We ended our evening with a photoshoot at the majestic Moses Mabhida Stadium. Warm city lights as the backdrop of our breathtaking wedding pictures. This was really the cherry on top! What more could a girl ask for?

My Special Day

Our wedding was truly a fairytale! I looked like a princess but felt like a Queen!
I really wanted my gown to stand out, so hair, make-up and jewellery was kept to a minimal.

Dress: Jasmins Bridal. Ballroom style, off the shoulder gown with a long train.Felt like royalty!

Hair: (Glam hair don't care - Morningside) Sleek back big bun with a high tiara on on the rim of the bun. Simplicity.

Make-up: (Muse beauty - Morningside) Smokey eye with heavy lashes really made my eyes pop and the famous Nude lip with pink undertone.

Jewellery: Tennis Necklace with round cut diamantes ,matching cuff earings ,and two single row bracelets with round cut diamantes as well for both wrists.

The Venue

The extraordinary Durban Country Club!

Wedding Elements

Our decor was done by the oh so talented Samcat Events, and Flowers by Peters Florist

I've always dreamt of having a very simple yet elegant wedding which also bursts with romance. Warm lighting, white roses and a fully draped venue is exactly what we were going for. Thankfully, the amazing team at Samcat Events and Peters Florist were able to achieve this.

Colour Theme: Ivory, white, cream and gold

Floristry: White and cream roses with greenery throughout the venue and on the centerpieces.
Bridesmaid bouquets: The "La Belle Rose" , basically white roses with a tinge of pink.
Button holes: White rose for The groom and each of his groomsmen
Bridal bouquet: I had a complete white rose bouquet with silver diamantes on each rose. There's just something about holding a bridal bouquet on your wedding day , there's something so memorable about it, something only a bride can feel.

Stage: Our stage was lit up beautifully with warm lighting and a flower wall as the backdrop ( white roses) , 2 throne chairs for the newly weds and a cake table with our breathtaking 5 tier cake.

Decor: Glass tables with lighting and mirror bases on each table, gold tiffany chairs, glass trumpet vases and gold crescents as center pieces.

Entering our venue was overwhelming,we were amazed at how the decor and flower teams were able to capture everything we wanted and give us the wedding of our dreams!

Thank you, Thank you, thank you!!! you guys rock!
