How did your love story begin?

We met at church. I always had a secret crush on him but never had I showed him any interest because he seemed like a serious person up until one evening at church he approached me and asked for my numbers. I was so excited and couldn't wait to get home so that he could phone. He eventually did we spoke for hours and he proposed love and his intentions were clear that he's been in love with me for over 3 years now and he is really serious and wants to marry me and as they say the rest is history we are in preparation of our wedding in December.

Tell us all about the proposal.

It was on my birthday on August 4th. He had paid lobola already in June and we had dated the previous year in around November. It was in a restaurant and when we finished eating he knelt down took out the ring and officially with a ring asked that I married him. It was the best birthday ever

Magical Moments

Still in preparation but I can't wait for that day.

My Special Day

I opted for something simple yet elegant, my hair was done by a lady called Zaza who owns Zaza Botique and make up by Ncumisa who works for MAC. Shoes were bought overseas by mother in law. Wedding dress I bought from La Princesspsa. Lingerie from Woolworths and Accessories and Jewellery from Big sis Mrs Anele Mqadi

The Venue

We got married at Ebandla Hotel in Ballito, we stayed the night :-)

My Bridal Beauty Regime

Tried several diets hahaha but non worked who said big girls don't look good in wedding dresses? LOL.

Wedding Elements

The décor was spectacular, it was a touch of purple and and ceres pink roses. The matrimonial was outside in the amphitheatre with white Wimbledon chairs and the 2nd session was inside the hall, it was draped with strips of white with fairy lights on the ceiling and the stage had a beautiful flower backdrop. Thanks to Azande Concepts for making the day spectacular and what a fairytale wedding it was.

My Groom And His Groomsmen

The groom bought his suits. They will wear navy, hubby feels it is best he hires suites for his entourage.

We ended up buying the suits for everyone sometimes hiring you don't really get what you are looking for..

Beautiful Bridesmaids

I had 2 bridesmaids and a maid of honour, they wore different shades of purple. My little sis Asanda Dlamini inspired the look.
