We went to Mauritius for our honeymoon, it was a surprise location, only found out the night of the wedding, definitely a sweet surprise to the day.
My make up was done by Monique Pappas, I wanted a Simple, Elegant, natural look, which went with my beautiful elegant, detailed dress made by Zita Contente couture.
My wedding shoes were from forever new, my earrings were from lovisa and my sparkling bracelet was a gift from the groom from Swarovski.
We got married at Avianto In Muldersdrifts on the 23/12/2017, just two days away from Christmas. It was definitely a magical day, as it marked a year that my husband proposed to me. A few of our guests stayed the night at Avianto as it was a drive for some of our guests.

The groom wore a black tuxedo, with a black bow tie, the groomsmen wore black suits with blush pink bow ties, which matched the bridesmaids.
They wore a blush pink fitted dress with side straps around the arms, very soft beautiful look. They got the look from Ana Paula Bridals

Might fine captured our special day, both photography and videography. Very talented people!! They really know how to capture every moment, they can bring out the vision you have for your special day!! And no we didn’t have a photo booth as we took photos with our guests during the day.

Used two family cars, saves on money (a good tip on where you can save money, where you can use it on something you really want)
Wedding food was catered by Avianto, and the cake was made by Kelly Jayne’s. Definitely 5 star service in both these places!!

After the “I Do” we walked out the chapel for a group photo, which was followed by us cutting our cake in front of all the guests, while we were taking our photos our guests could enjoy the classical music in the background eating canapés and wedding cake, which then not long after followed the reception. Yes we had dance lessons in order to blow the guests away with an amazing first dance, we used a DJ for the reception to liven the mood of our guests. During the ceremony and canapés we used a company “string things” who played chelos during the day to give the day a classic romantic feeling to the wedding.
The party consisted of a 3 course meal, we then danced the night away..
