Walking down the aisle with my mom was a very special moment for me. My dad passed away when i was 15 years old and to have my mom walk me down the aisle was just amazing. I looked at my mom and my mom looked at me and the first thing she said was don't make me cry. I started laughing and told her the same, but as soon as we saw my fiancès face and those tears in his eyes we both started crying. Was so special. Also the dance was also very special moment.

We got married at the most stunning, amazing, breathtaking venue Kuthaba Bush Lodge. All of our guests stayed over for the weekend. The ceremony was held at the Cliff with the most amazing views of the Waterberg Mountains. After the ceremony guests enjoyed snacks on the deck. The reception was held at the Boma with the thatched dance floor and bar.

We love the natural look, and brought a lot of rustic and wood detail to our decor. At the Ceremony i had a wooden picture frame made to remember our loved ones who passed. My flower girl walked down the aisle with a wooden heart sign that said " Uncle Nick too late to run coz here she comes". We decorated our tables and chairs with burlap and linen. Used wood slices as under plates and had little heart boxes with Burlap Twine as our wedding favors. Heather is absolutely the best when it came to our flowers. We decided on flower boxes and Eucalyptus runners as center pieces for the tables. On our table we had 3 flower boxes and our wooden name stand. Our decor looked amazing and we loved every detail of it.

The groomsmen wore smart stretch sateen chino pants with brown shoes and belts, white shirts and sky blue bow-ties. The groom wore a Stone two piece suit also with a white shirt, brown shoes and a brown belt.
The groom's suit was rented from Eurosuit and the pants and shirts of the groomsmen were bought at Mr Price.
My maid of honor's dress was made by my Aunt and my flower girls dress i ordered online from Wish. Their shoes i bought from Mr Price.

Our special moments were captured by Lida and her Husband Andre from Lida de Beer Photography. Our package included a usb stick with ALL the wedding photos a second photographer and a night shoot. Its true what they say a picture is worth a thousand words.
I planned the wedding myself and the help of friends and family however, Jason from Kuthaba Bush Lodge was exceptional when it came to the weekend and day of the wedding, coordinating and assisting where possible. He was there for us from day one.
