Walking down the aisle to Only Time from ENYA was the most magical and surreal moment. It felt as if I was in a fairytale and time stood still.
We had no money left to go to one but we have many years ahead of us to have one.
Our wedding Venue was The Blue Barn, Mooiplaas East London. The service at the venue was amazing; they did the setting up, food and cleaning up. They were all so helpful & went out there way. They really made my day stress free.
I tried to eat as healthy as possible & exercised as often as I could. I did eat a chocolate here & there when I needed that stress relief. I cleansed & moisturized my body/face on a daily bases. To relieve that tension I went for a full body massage the day before my wedding.
We tried to keep everything in the theme of rustic woodland, with a touch of elegancy and to look and feel relaxed. The venue supplied most of the décor and we made the rest out of recycled items.
Our followers where basic (Lisianthus & Limonium) yet work so well with our theme and looked so beautiful. Flowers where done by Sarah May she really went out her way to make my wedding day look extra special.
The groom wore a blue Colour pants (Mr Price), white shirt (Mr Price), grey waist coat (Woolworths) & brown shoes (out his cupboard).
The groomsmen wore a blue Colour pants (Mr Price), white shirt (Mr Price), & brown shoes (out his cupboard), brown suspenders (China Town) & brown wooden bow ties( from the UK)
They wore a long champagne chiffon dress with silver & rose gold studs (Truworths). They each wore different styled gold shoes of there choosing. All three decided on beautiful, elegant up styles for the hair. Make up was done by – Kelly Meiring. Hair was done by - Samantha Pillay

We had an amazing photographer “Belinda Cass Photography”. She made us feel so comfortable and captured the beauty in us and our wedding.
I mostly planned my wedding with help from friends and family. Steph & her team from the Blue Barn also helped the day run so smoothly.
We used an old blue VW bus. It fitted in perfectly with the theme. We had a few breakdowns along the road but still managed to get to the wedding early.
Starters = Harvest Table (done by Venue) Main = Build a burger (done by Venue) Desert = Ice cream bar (done by Venue). Vanilla cake & chocolate mousse cupcakes (done by my sister in law “Mandy Dysel”
We created and made most of the stationary items using recycled & bought stuff from China Town. We also used www.cards& pockets.com to design our wedding invitation.
Our DJ was “Rick Earth”, he played amazing music there was always someone on the dance floor. He even sang some songs (He has a lovely voice) I had so much fun it was the best party I have had in a long time.
