Our special day started on a rainy day..It was a God givin day that blessed us with all our friends and family.The most memorable moment for me was before walking down the isle .I had a surprise for my future husband. I pre-recorded a prayer for him. It was the most beautiful moment ever to see my future husband getting very emotional.
For our honeymoon we wanted a tropical island getaway so we decided to go to Raddison Blu in Mauritius.
For my wedding dress, I decided on a mermaid styled dress with a long train.I added Swarovski crystals and white lace to give it the perfect look.My dress was custom made by Melive Bridal Couture.
For my hair we did soft curls and make up we went smokey eyes with light lips.
I had silver and bling high heels that complimented my bling jewellery.
We got married at Green leaves Country Lodge in Hartbeespoort.
Our guests stayed the night at Green Leaves Country Lodge where they partied the night away and they had breakfast the next morning.
My beauty regime leading up to the wedding included a few tanning sessions, teeth whitening, manicure and pedicure, daily gym sessions, hair treatments and full day spa treatment. I felt relaxed and beautiful for the big day ... Like any bride should.
Our theme for our wedding was Elegant Bling
For our table centre pieces we used crystal candle holders with long white candles that was placed upon a glass box with white LED lights that shined through and upon the crystals with Perspex table numbers on the side.
For the flowers we decided on blush pink and white roses with a touch of green eucalyptus leaves and stems.
On the dance floor we had a Gobo light with our initials and wedding date design.
To show our guests to their seats we used a 1.8m x 1.2m mirror that was sand balsted.
The suit for the groom was custom made by Diaan Daniels Couture.
It was a navy blue suit with a classic white shirt and navy detailed tie.
The groomsmen's outfits complimented the groom's suit perfectly by wearing navy suit pants with classic white shirts, navy detailed suspenders and a tan leather bow tie.

Each bridesmaid designed their own top part of the dress.The dresses had see through lace trains.

Our photobooth was a DIY project and our guest had so much fun.
My family and friends all helped me plan the big day.
We had a excellent buffet which Green Leaves, our venue provided.
Our wedding cake was made by Maryke Maartens from Oh' so Deliciousness.
We had a four layoured cake with Caramel fudge and bar one chocolate flavour.
I designed our own website for our wedding invitations.
We also had a wedding newspaper that was a custom design printed by The wedding Wearhouse.
The party was HUGE a highlight at our wedding.We played games with our guests and our MC did a great job entertaining everyone.We then danced the night away.
Soundworx was our DJ and also did our lighting.For our first dance we also had a dry iced machine which set the romantic mood.We danced on "I don't dance " from Lee Brice.
Luckily for my husband I'm a dance instructor so I choreographed the dance and helped him with his two left feet.
